House was filthy with dead bugs, mold in vents, showers and bathrooms. One sink was broken. Hair in showers. Wife got stuck in shower for an hour due to broken door. Moldy lime covered showerheads. 3 callls to maintenance for tvs not working. Pool was nasty and smelled of urine, along with whole first floor. Smoke detectors missing. Kitchen missing essential tools. No cleaning supplies. Holes in stained curtains. Lights on patios broken. Dust everywhere including on ceiling fans. Sliding doors didnt lock. Rod in closet fell and hit wife in head. Missmatched paint repairs, scuffed dirty, walls It was worse than a cheap motel! We have photos of all. It is badly in need of a complete makeover.

Thee property was noticeably more worn than expected and felt much smaller than the photos depicted. Unfortunately, the kitchen was not well stocked with basic essentials, which made meal preparation inconvenient. Additionally, guests should be aware that there are many stairs, which might be challenging for some. Very dissapointed!

Highly misleading property description.

While this property is located in an excellent area with a beautiful and non-crowded beach, the photos online are very inaccurate. The property needs major updating to reflect the rates being charged. The kitchen and bathrooms were very dirty and had mold around the tubs, sinks, and showers. We had a broken bedframe, a clogged shower, and the lint trap in the dryer did not fit making it unusable. Most of the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. The patio furniture was old and rusty. This property was very dated for this price point. There were some attempts at paint touchups on the walls, however, that just added to the dated look as the paint did not match. I had to contact the host due to issues with the internet and to request additional towels and they responded immediately and took care of our needs promptly. We had very high hopes for this property as it seemed to meet all the requirements for our growing family and while we loved the area, we were extremely disappointed with the accommodations.

Great location but not great house

You cant beat the location of this house or how close it is to the beach. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping. However, the house is in major need of a good deep clean and possibly updating. Lots of surfaces were dirty upon arrival including counters, coffee tables, living room chairs, floors, steps, railings and the pool. There was mold floating in the fridge water tray. We never used the pool because there was chunks of something floating in there upon arrival and the bottom was covered in sand, I don't think it was cleaned at all. The fridge door was missing all but 1 tray inside so you lose a ton of usable space. The primary bedroom on the bottom floor is also not a king size bed as advertised. The bed has been replaced with a queen, possibly even a full size. We take this trip with 10 ladies every year and this house was disappointing when we stayed in an identical house 3 doors down last year and it was amazing. I think if they can get a great crew in there to deeeep clean and fix issues this would be a great property. Property manager was very kind and did what he could to help.

Great location

Location was great. Property needs major updates. Pool was 5x7 3ft deep, but to gross for us, so did not even use. Cleanliness was not good. Bugs or food under stove, hair on pillow. Toilet ran all night on 1st floor. Broken pieces in fridge that needs repair. I dont believe we wo night on

House not up to standards

House is in need of a major paint upgrade. The area around the splash pool was incredibly dangerous. My three grandchildren had multiple slips. I have stayed at other homes in the same area, and this one is nowhere close to being as nice as of the others

Great stay right on the beach!

Celebrated my dad's 75th here. Amazing property right on the beach. The vacation rental is great, and you have "concierge" via text every day - which was a nice touch. The property's layout is a bit unusual (kitchen is on the second floor; to use the plunge pool / use the gate to the beach without having to go through front door, you have to go through the first floor bedroom) but these factors did not have an impact on our vacation. VERY DOG FRIENDLY too!!! Would book again. Thanks for the wonderful time. Jimmy

Property met our needs to be close to the beach and shops. The interior is tired and needs some work, steps to the beach are in need of repair and the outdoor plunge pool seems to sinking from the floor.

Great time on the world's best beach

Property was very nice. Beach was fantastic. Weather and water temp were perfect to make playing in the Gulf refreshing and fun. Several annoyances, though. Metal deck chairs rusting and stained our clothes. Puddles of water in front of refrig that may be associated with the ice dispenser being totally clogged. No kitchen towels. No oven mitts (makes it dicey to cook anything in the oven.) Broken wine glass in the shelf. Plastic glasses with rim melted flat. No measuring spoons and minimal measuring cups. Outdoor trash bin full and multiple trash sacks sitting around it with huge swarm of flies. All this annoyed, but didn't spoil the fun of the location and overall charm of the place.

First trip to Miramar/Destin!

We had a great time in Seaduction! There were 12 of us and we had enough room and access to the beach was easy. The beds were comfy and there were a few chairs and a few beach toys there already. The plunge pool was nice for the three year old and the 8 year old in our family. *I would suggest to get chairs out on beach early. The chair rental place will set up chairs and umbrellas to rent early in the front row of the beach so if you do not want to rent from them, make sure to set your chairs/umbrellas up early. (two chairs and an umbrella, $60 for whole day). *It would be nice if there was an entry to beach from bottom floor of house but due to sand dunes and sea oats there cannot be). *The stairs to beach are in decent shape but if you have elderly or really small children just be aware of all the stairs! The house has three levels and to get to main living space a person has to climb at least one set. *Parking is tight. We had three full size SUVs and they fit but it was close. *Right across the street there is a little place to eat, a Dairy Queen, and a small gift shop. There is a big Alvins (like a Surf Style) just a few blocks downt the road) I walked most mornings and really enjoyed that! The sidewalks are nice and there are a couple public restrooms on the beach side. We would definitely stay again! (Gave a 4 on cleanliness just because floors were a little dirty... not to the eye but if you walked barefoot you could tell) but that was only complaint!

Destin Family trip

Beautiful location! Easy check in and most everything is provided minus your food. Having elevator use would have been advantageous for bringing in luggage and groceries but you will get great exercise with all the steps!
