Awesome vacation

2nd time staying here and every time we have a great time. Its family friendly, great location, and walking distance to beach. Kiddie pool was a hit with our 6 year old son and teenage niece. We will be back next year!

I stayed at this accommodation with my husband and three kids and we really enjoyed it. Beautiful views from the balcony, spacious rooms & bathrooms, comfortable beds and a nice kitchen. My kids raved about how nice it was and they loved having breakfast out on the balcony. The Ariel Dunes property is dated, but up-kept very well. The pools were nice and we loved being so close to the beach. Literally a 5 minute walk. My one and only gripe is that the water randomly went out for about an hour on the third day, but I don’t think that would keep me from re-booking in the future. We definitely plan on vacationing in Destin again and will look for this exact booking.

This was an awesome place to stay very clean the property owner cares very dearly about their condo you could tell from how clean it was you have a great view of the ocean me and my family had a wonderful time I will definitely book this condo again it was very quiet very family oriented perfect for older folks and smaller children

Great view, amazing space

From the moment we arrived (before, really), we had everything we needed for a smooth experience. Door codes provide for a keyless experience that’s a win for all. Parking is ample and the residents are all very pleasant. Access to the beach is literally a block away and the walk is all via sidewalk with extra consideration for pedestrian traffic. The beach is beautiful and I love that the condo affords a view of the beach condition flag so you know at any time whether you will be allowed in the water or not (for safety). The pools at the condo are great and readily accessible. We had a blast and the value was definitely there for our group of 4!

Overall, it was an unpleasant experience. Poor Management.

When we arrived after a long car ride, the unit had not been cleaned at all (it was well after check in time). We were asked to leave until 10:00 pm, and were told to have dinner somewhere and we were told we would be reimbursed. We loaded our luggage back into the car. It was late but we found somewhere to eat. The dinner bill was $296.75, which is very reasonable for that area. We submitted the receipt, and were just informed via a follow-up call we made that they were reimbursing us for only $100. We told them only the full amount would be acceptable. When we returned to the unit at 10:00 pm, it had been cleaned just ok. And there was a note that the dishwasher was broken. We called them about the dishwasher, and they sent someone to try to fix it on the evening before we were leaving. They needed a part or something so we told them to just fix it after we left. Overall, the unit was just ok. The bedding was below average, and the bunkbeds were in a closet. There were lots of little things that need improvement too, like putting a usable closet in the master bedroom (the master bedroom closet was locked for the owner's use only), providing luggage racks, upgrading the bathrooms and kitchen, etc. The location was awesome though.
