This place was filthy… from the baseboards to the floors to the walls. When we arrived there was a used water bottle in the kids room and candy wrappers. Also a giant hair ball was left in the downstairs bathroom. If you like clean places to stay, I would not recommend

Great property from location to very clean space. Host was super accommodating when we had a last minute emergency. We are grateful for their help with a last minute change. Host was also very responsive to feedback on a couple minor areas needing attention that can be easily fixed. Loved the ample towels, soap, detergent and dish soap. Huge plus when trying to keep soace clean. Thank you and we would book this property again!

This property had plenty of room to accommodate our extended family. The kitchen was stocked nicely to be able to have some family. There are two golf carts that make moving around the resort easy.

Relaxing get away

We spent the week driving the golf cart everywhere, relaxing on the beach and eating great food at the Wharf. The house was beautiful and comfortable and clean!

Great location and consistent owner communication!

Overall we had a great stay. The location within SanDestin is convenient to many of the amenities available. The house itself was in good condition & the amount of space for our extended family of 12 was ample (4 large bedrooms & 4 bathrooms). One of the rooms is a bunk room that was cozy - albeit a bit warm when you get 6 kids sleeping together. The fans kept it mostly comfortable. The only reasons we didn't feel our stay deserved a 5 star rating were a couple issues we had. One minor issue was the water heater didn't quite keep up with 12 people showering so we had to stagger showers quite a bit - which helped. The other issue we had was the golf carts. One golf cart had a flat tire and the battery didn't seem to hold a charge very well so we ended up having to push the cart home a couple times (after just a couple short trips). We've stayed in SanDestin 6 times in the past and have driven all over the resort with no issues so it seemed to be this particular golf cart. The other golf cart (there were 2 advertised as part of the VRBO) never left the driveway. The autobrake was locked and after 2 days of a service tech looking at it, he could not get the autobrake off. The owner was extremely responsive throughout the ordeal and we appreciated his attempts/solution to help the situation. Having 2 6-seater golf carts was a big reason why we chose this house (given our party of 12). In the end we made the best of the situation and ultimately had a nice time.

Awesome!

We loved this home! The driveway and golf cart situation is small but we managed with a lot of shenanigans! The golf carts were fun and my family laughed until we cried! It was easy to get around and the kids loved the cart rides. The Beach House restaurant is super fun and there is easy access to the beach there, also with a pool. Loved the kids room set up as a submarine. Lots of beach toys and chairs although we didn’t use because of our short stay for one night. Would recommend. This resort is gorgeous and huge with beautiful properties and ponds.

Nice house

Overall, the house is very nice and located in the area that we’ve stayed at many of times before. Unfortunately, the Internet is very poor there. Most of the time the TVs did not work due to the Internet being down. Also, there is an issue if you do not sit your trash out at a certain time or if you don’t pull the golf carts just right you will be fined with no warning! Unfortunately, this used to be a neighborhood that we used to enjoy vacationing at, but it has changed over the years and will not be vacationing there again. The beds on the kids room were the only comfortable beds all others are very hard and uncomfortable to sleep in we all woke up with stiff backs. There is a lot of extras in the garage for the beach which is a nice extra.

Best Beach Vacation Ever

I have taken my family on many beach vacations, but this time we took our extended family. The location was perfect and the house exceeded all our expectations! It was extremely clean, and the owners seem to have thought of everything you would need to make your stay enjoyable. They were communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. As my parents don’t have the same mobility that they used to, we were able to bring them along everywhere we went with the golf carts, which made it very enjoyable for them. We will definitely be staying here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent place to create memories!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home! If you’re looking for a place to accommodate a large group of people and house teens or kids, this home is perfect. The bedroom/bath located on the main level was excellent for our parents. Upstairs the master suite is large and has a private balcony overlooking the lilly pad pond. Each room has a large walk in closet and a plethora of extra pillows and blankets. I highly recommend this place and we will be staying here again. The 2 golf carts included along with the location, are the perfect pairings to make this home the place to stay in Sandestin! Communication with owner is excellent!

One amazing place!

Wow! This unit is just as described and more! Very clean and updated decor! The unit was well stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, beach chairs and beach toys, beach towels, cleaning supplies and toiletries. We have stayed in several units at Sandestin over the years and several units at Villa Lago. This one was by far the best. We had a flat on one of the golf carts, texted the owner and within an hour he had someone on site and repaired. The owner is very good about communicating prior to the trip and while staying there. We cannot say enough about how pleased we were during our stay. We will indeed plan on staying here again!

Amazing property! Highly recommend!

We had the best time with our family at this property. The owner was amazing and let us know expectations ahead of time and answered our questions promptly. The 2 golfs carts made our stay even better. We were able to see everything we wanted without taking multiple vehicles. House was clean upon arrival with proper instruction and explanations. If you want to go to the beach the owner has 4 beach chairs, beach umbrellas and plenty of water items to take with you and plenty of beach towels if you need them. All of the rooms were spacious with plenty of room for a large family. Neighborhood is quiet and location is great with plenty to do if you do not want to travel far. Highly recommend and plan to stay again.
