We enjoyed our stay at Pelican Perch. The home is comfortable for a family. We cooked in the kitchen (the oven is amazing! It’s a Cafe appliance!), swam in the large pool, and played games that were provided in the living room entertainment center. The golf cart was perfect to load up the beach gear and take the short drive to the private beach access. This was the best part! We really never had to leave the subdivision to get to the beach fun. The host was very quick to respond when we had simple questions. Great stay!

Favorite beach getaway

We have been vacationing in the Destin area for many years and this home was one of our favorites. It was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The private pool was great as well. We look forward to staying at Pelican Perch again!

Beautiful home

We came to Destin for our grandson’s beach wedding. The home was clean and just perfect for our family of nine adults and two children. The swimming pool was awesome and the golf cart was perfect for trips to the beach. We all really enjoyed our stay and would love to return again in the future!

Beautiful home

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Everything was clean and the property manager was quick to answer any questions. Close to the beach. Gulf cart is a must, making trips to the beach easy. Pool was very nice and house has a nice sized yard. Definitely would stay here again. Beach area was nice and not too busy. We were able to put up our canopy on the beach to allow for shade. Neighborhood is very nice and quiet.

Great house, beach, pool! Exactly what we were looking for. Golf cart is a must! House layout is great. Kitchen fully stocked. One small issue with the washing machine and host response was immediate. Highly recommend this house!

Great vacation spot

We really enjoyed our stay at this home! It’s a great location just outside of Destin , so it’s a little more quiet. The home was very clean with amazing finishes, the kitchen was stocked well with all the things you would need, and we really enjoyed the outside spaces and the front porch!!! The pool area has adequate seating and it was nice to have some yard space for yard games. The home is somewhat of a walk to the beach (carrying all the beach essentials) so it was nice to have the golf cart as an option to get there much easier. Also we loved that we didn’t have to worry about parking it at the beach , there was always parking available. The owners and management of these property are great , for the most part prior to our trip they were great at getting back to us with our questions about the property, and during our stay they were very prompt with any communication we had with them! We would definitely recommend this property to others!!! Destin is an amazing vacation spot!

Perfect family vacation house

This has become our families favorite vacation location. The house is modern, clean and is located is a perfect location. My girls love the private pool and the chairs at the beach are perfect for Starbucks with my wife every morning. The property managers are very responsive. We can’t wait until next year!

Perfect Perch

We loved this property and especially enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and friendly residents. Easy access to private beach and also enjoyed pool at house. Shopped and dined in Destin in spite of the crowds and traffic. Great choices also near the property. We also enjoyed massages at The Hilton. Great day snapper fishing with Backcoumtry Outfitters limiting out with our guide Jeremy! Grandsons enjoyed parasailing and the go carts and arcade/amusement park in Destin. Kiley was very helpful and prompt with questions I had prior to arrival. It was a wonderful week making memories at this beautiful home!

Meet all expectations.

We really enjoyed this property!! From the very beginning the owners had great communication. And they checked on us multiple times during our stay. They informed us of places to go for certain things. The house was awesome overall and the pool came in clutch when we didn't want to go to the beach. The private access to the beach was also worth it there was always spots available to set up and enjoy it without all the crowds.

Amazing Vacation House

Pelican Perch was better than expected. First, the pictures of the property are beautiful; but in person, the house is stunning. My whole family enjoyed staying there. It was an amazing house for all ages. The golf cart option is a must. It makes trips down to the beach very easy and convenient. Plus, it’s a nice way to see the community. The homeowners were wonderful throughout the entire process. Easy to contact and very hospitable. We will definitely stay at Pelican Perch again!

Would 100% recommend Pelican Perch

Spring break 2023 was a delightful week for our family. When we arrived, we found Pelican Perch was just as described in the listing. It is a lovely house in an adorable neighborhood. The golf cart and private beach access made our many trips to the beach a breeze. The heated pool was so nice especially a few days when the air temperature was a bit cool for staying at the beach all day. The kitchen has top of the line appliances and we were able to cook meals with ease. We had abundant space to spread out with our family of 5. The location was perfect for us as we enjoy spending time at the beach but you are also so very close to an abundance of shopping, food, and entertainment. Our #1 priority when traveling is finding a place that is truly cleaned properly. Pelican Perch met our high expectations of cleanliness. If we ever travel to Miramar Beach FL again we will be staying at the Pelican Perch.

Great location and lovely house

I love the feeling when you open the door and you know you made the right choice to stay at this house. Great layout and we all loved the private pool. You are close to the Whataburger which is plus and the proximity to the beach was great. The golf cart is a must and the access to the private beach was well worth the cost!

Absolutely Phenomenal!!!

We have vacationed in this area of the panhandle for well over twelve years. Hands down, this is the best place we have ever stayed! The neighborhood is a hidden gem. We have stayed on/near ‘private’ beaches before (where all the hundreds of homes and condos have access), but now we are spoiled. This neighborhood has its own actual private access, and they take it seriously. The beach was nearly empty, truly private. Don’t let the fact that this house is not directly on the beach stop you from staying here! The golf cart makes it a quick trip (literally 2 minutes) with golf cart parking right at the access gate, and it makes hauling beach toys and bags so easy! This spoiled us, too. So fun and convenient! This home is missing nothing! It is truly exceptional, and the cleanest place we have ever stayed! The hosts were incredibly friendly and have paid so much attention to detail in their home. Quality is superb! The beds and linens are comfy. The kitchen is stocked. Plenty of seating in the living area with large TVs throughout. Love the open concept, you don’t miss a thing! That pool - WOW! This isn’t just any private pool. It is perfect! The deep end appeared to be 5 feet, which was perfect for swimming, but put my mind at ease with our kids. It was big with plenty of seating to lay, sit, rock, or picnic! The pool is almost always in the sunshine (absolutely perfect), but the decking on the side of the house is shaded, which means there is really a spot for everyone whether someone wants to sit in the shade and enjoy the view or layout and bask in the abundant sunshine! The stereos back there were so handy, too. Tons of yard space that we have never had while staying in Florida before. They have thought of everything!!! We were so incredibly blessed to stay here, and we will for sure be back in the future!!! I cannot wait!
