„Das Zimmer war geräumig mit Sessel und Schreibtisch. Nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal... wie leider fast überall das Plastikgeschirr zum Frühstück “

„The bathroom floor was not clean. There was hair in the shower from a previous guest and the toilet was not 100% clean.“

„Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and matched the description. I didn’t notice any noise during my stay, which made for a restful experience. The furnishings are a bit dated, but everything is still in good condition and fully functional. The room also had a slight old carpet smell, which wasn’t overwhelming but was noticeable. The bathroom was generally clean, but the shower and bathroom would benefit from a more thorough deep cleaning from time to time to ...

„The property is in a country setting. It was quite and peaceful. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We slept well and enjoyed our stay.“

„Everything about our stay was a great experience. The first impression of the room layout and function was a step above. Very bougie!! Elegant. I will book again“

„Room was ok, about what would be expected at this price point. It was clean and quiet, older hotel. Had some difficulty with check-in as room was prepaid through Expedia and hotel could not get payment to process. Staff was extremely apologetic and tried to assist as much as possible, but ultimately required me being involved and taking 45 minutes to resolve.“

„Average, Sheets and blankets questionable on clean.“

„A really nice man, I believe the owner, checked me in. I didn’t see any staff after that. It was quiet and convenient for my stay on my Friends and Family Tour ‘26. I wasn’t expecting the Taj Mahal but I was pleasantly surprised at the comfortable bed and the clean room. A bonus, there’s a great coffee shop called Mia’s in Shelbina. It’s in the grocery store with a drive up.“

„Bed was uncomfortable for being a hotel. Shower pressure was very poor. Dire need of updating“

„The facility needs to be updated. If you're looking for a vintage feel with what looks like moldy caulk in the shower, rusty drains, a leaky shower head, thread worn bedding, and buckling laminate flooring, this is your place. I guess I can't complain for the price point, but if I would have known how bad it was I would have booked my stay elsewhere. The pool looked like it needed fresh water and to be circulated. The breakfast offerings were stomach turning to say the least. I'm thankful to ...

„Das Zimmer war für amerikanische Verhältnisse klein. Der Kühlschrank funktionierte nicht. Stühle in der Lobby waren sehr wackelig. Aus der Decke der Lobby hat es getropft und die Hoteleingangstür hat gequietscht. Das Bett hat geknarzt und erst nach gefühlten 10 Minuten kam lauwarmes Wasser aus der Leitung. Es sollte dringend Geld investiert werden. Wir würden dieses Hotel nicht nochmal buchen.“

„Very nice room with view of the Mississippi River. In quaint part of Hannibal. Loved it.“

„I’m so glad I stayed at this charming and historic bed & breakfast just a few blocks away from the riverfront in my favorite little old town of Hannibal. Everything was within walking distance and it felt a little like going back in time. I highly recommend the Garden House B&B for the authentic Hannibal experience!“
