This is was not a good experience. We came there for a youth football tournament and the home was in awful shape. The house was not clean, holes in the walls, furniture broken and could not use, and the pool was so dirty and clearly untreated to the point it could not be used. A part of the porch caved in to the point one of our coaches was injured. We told these things to the owner and asked for a full refund, however, we were told we would have to vacate immediately to receive the refund but there was no place to go as we had a group of 9 year olds and several coaches. To say this was an awful experience is an understatement. We will NOT BE STAYING THERE AGAIN!

Upon entering the home we could tell that it was a beautiful, however, as we begin to look closer we saw that the upkeep of the home wasn’t being done. Our first find was the unit in the window had completely fallen out leaving an open window in one of the bedrooms. We contacted the owners and informed them. They asked us to stick the unit back in and some would come to the home the next day. I had to follow up around 5pm the next day and three random guys showed up with no notice, just was informed that they didn’t have an eta at that time. We were excited to have the pool for the kids to swim in however there were multiple safety concerns outside. Railing on only one side of the steep steps, trees and bushes hanging over covering majority of the steps, very little walk room around the pool and also a loose banister once on the deck, once I had leaned against it I almost fell back. Inside was flooded with gnats and also seen a few flying roaches, kitchen sink faucet would not fully cut off, and eating was a struggle due to all of the gnats, even showering had gnats in it as well.There was not enough towels for all guest. No lighting and loose bricks in the front created safety issues.

The property was centrally located so we could get to anything within minutes. All the rooms were a great size. The master bedroom barhroom was awesome; however the mattress was terrible for.my back. The other rooms had good mattresses, so i had to swap with a kids room. The kitchen was great to cook in, but there were ants and the kitchen faucet leaked. We had to shut off water under sink, because of water would flood kitchen counter. The furniture really didnt go with decor of house. Most it look like ikea furniture, but we enjoyed our stay overall. It was about family and time together.

Dishwasher was not working if you wash the dishes on the sink water will come out of the dishwasher couches were broken light bulbs were burned out it was making shortage jacuzzi was full of water with paper doors and rails just glue not fixed it was a lot of stuff the AC will work and stop working

Disrepair, dirty and disappointing

We recently rented the “Foxy on Felder” house in Montgomery, but it fell short of our expectations. The property is in disrepair, which should be addressed before renting it out to travelers seeking a relaxing home away from home experience. Issues We Encountered: Maintenance: Rotted baseboards, Broken tiles, Broken switch plates near water, Loose and falling-off door knobs on bathrooms and closets (child got locked inside a bathroom) Cleanliness: Dirty floors, Caked dust throughout the house, dirty windows, stained couches. Management sent someone to clean floor. Pest Issues: mouse visits nightly even with food items placed inside fridge Management: Responsive. Last-minute request to fill out the booking contract instead of soon after booking is not good. No provisions for sofa beds left some registered guests without proper bedding first night. In summary, from this experience, we would not rent this house or from this management company again. While the management company promptly addressed some issues during our stay, we remain uncertain about the quality of any rental property they include in their vacation rental program, based on the condition of the Felder house. Their management offered us a partial refund, but only under the condition that we refrain from leaving any review anywhere. However, we believe it’s essential for future travelers to have honest feedback, so we chose to share our review of the property instead of taking the partial refund offered to us.

Second time with Patriot

We have ongoing projects in the Montgomery area that require special crews from our Tampa location supervise and assist. Generally they as adults are very tidy, apparently we had one who was not and left a trail behind him assuming the prepaid clean up fees I provided would cover his sloppiness. He will never ride again... grounded. Our apologies, as we know who to send, as before.

Clealiness issue extended?

When we arrived the place was dirty and there was furniture broken. The owner got the cleaning lady there, but it was evident that the house was not cleaned before we arrived. The cleaning lady made some weird loud noise a couple of times when she was cleaning as if there was something that surprised her…our guess was that it was a mouse or something. When we asked her if she was okay she said it was the vacuum cleaner. It was quite strange…we didn’t spend a great deal of time at the house, it was close to things and other than the beginning it was fine.

Great location and responsive owners

We loved the location - within walking distance of a wonderful Cafe and restaurant. The house was well stocked and the owner was responsive when we had an issue with the wifi.
