We really enjoyed our stay! We were extended family with six adults and six kids and had plenty of space to spread out. The indoor hot tub was a real treat in the winter. The grandchildren were able to go sledding right out in front by the driveway. Everything else that we needed was a very short drive away e.g. pizza, supermarket, etc.. The host was very responsive.

The open rooms were very spacious and the bedrooms were small but very comfortable . Hot tub never reached the expected temperature but the kids loved it. Good location and very close to all the things we wanted to do. We were there with 14 family members so the excellent and large dining room table accommodated everyone. Two refrigerators was a great bonus and a super large tv upstairs and large game room downstairs. Enough beds to accommodate 24 people. Convienent gas grill under cover. Couple minor housekeeping issues but I would recommend this home as a nice place to accommodate a large group.

We have gone back to this location three times because it's an excellent value with many bedrooms for our large group. The property manager was very responsive to any needs during our stay. The kitchen might use an upgrade, but the rest of the property is very good.

Amazing family getaway!

My family of 10 which included two kids had an amazing stay at Shira’s house. We enjoyed how clean and simple it was and Shira was so easy to communicate with. The kids absolutely loved the heated pool and we all took advantage of the indoor hot tub! We played board games as a family in the dining room and the bedrooms were also very comfortable. The two refrigerators in the kitchen was also very helpful for us as a big group. Thank you so much!! I hope we will be back!

We came from out of state and loved the quiet feel of this VRBO. The downstairs game room was fun and one of the mainstays of our trip. It's a big area, as are the living room and dining room upstairs. Having several rooms that can comfortably accommodate 15 people was a priority, and the property was fantastic in this aspect. The back patio area was spacious too! But the real gem there is the pool and hot tub combination. Having the indoor hot tub room right off of the patio made the backyard area a great place to hang out on a nice day. Deciding between lounging in the pool or relaxing in the hot tub was a welcomed dilemma!They must have recently replaced the pool liner too because it looked brand new and complemented the clean feel of the place. You can tell the host puts a lot of care and effort into it. I highly recommend it!

It was a total hit for both the kids and adults, especially after a day of exploring the area. Death Trap in Winter! Unreliable host. Ammenities not working.

Our biggest issue is that the driveway & front steps weren't plowed or shoveled despite receiving enough snow the week before we arrived to cancel or delay schools twice. The 6-8" of snow partially melted & refroze leaving the steep driveway & front steps very slick. We had some injuries as our group unpacked our cars Fri night. I messaged the host asking for someone to plow the driveway & shovel the front steps on Sat so we could pack our cars & get everyone out of the house safely on Sun. I informed her that we were currently parked in the driveway, but would happily move our cars once the plow came (they could call or ring bell upon arrival or she could give us advance notice). Unfortunately, host didn't respond until late Saturday night, saying she sent a plow, but they couldn't plow bc there were cars in the driveway. So, we experienced even more falls & injuries Sun morning on our way out. Completely unacceptable.Additionally, the grill is dirty & completely rusted (inside of lid flakes off onto grill plate upon opening) & unusable.Hot tub was dirty, had a strange smell, & was foaming (w/o jets on, as if soap had been added). Fireplace didn't work. Game room had broken pool sticks, broken foosball table ( missing ball), & furniture in game room wasn't sturdy / in good condition.Positives: Before our stay, host was very good at responding to messages & clarifying additional costs (individuals after first 6, early check-in, etc.). House had enough bedrooms/beds.

Nice location and accommodating host

The host was very accommodating and a good communicator. Location is close to everything and lots of great options for things to do in the area. Large house with many rooms, we didn't' feel crowded. The only negative is the house somewhat dated. Kitchen and some appliances are on the older side, and it gets smoky if you try to cook there. Cook top is burned, some kitchen things need replacement like potholders, rusted/chipped cutting knifes. The main bath's shower head was leaking but was functional enough to take a shower. Hot tub room is gorgeous; however, we had some issues turning the jets on initially, but were able to get it to work after the host gave additional instructions. Overall, a very nice stay.

Nice place

We had a very nice experience for our elopement celebration with family and friends. The property wasn’t perfect but it was serviceable. Jacuzzi was rusty and out of service. The furniture had a couple of burns. A mouse visited us in the house on day 1, but that may be understandable given the area. Outdoor garbages were full when we arrived. The grill was well-used and required a bit of cleaning before first use. The beds only had the comforter and not the sheet. However, there were plenty of bedrooms and the dining and outdoor spaces were great.

Friends Getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! It's much more spacious than it appears from the outside, and the indoor hot tub and heated pool were fantastic amenities that we enjoyed throughout our visit. The fire pit was perfect for the cooler evenings, and Shira thoughtfully provided firewood, which was a delightful surprise. The only minor drawback was the BBQ, which wasn't as efficient as we'd hoped and took longer to cook our meals. However, the kitchen was fully stocked, allowing us to multitask between the grill and the oven, which made up for it. Overall, a fantastic stay with plenty of comforts and thoughtful touches!

A nice serviceable place for a large gathering.

A clean solid house pleasantly surrounded by woods. A generous heated pool, a spacious central living room, and a large dining room with expandable seating made for good gathering at our family reunions. The house is modest in style, and the basement spaces rather do-it-yourself, but we were comfortable and happy. There are good restaurants in the nearby town for feeding the clan.

Great House

The house is great, lots of room for our group, nice pool. The kitchenware could be upgraded a little, but overall we had a great time for the second year in a row.

Very enjoyable

We had a very enjoyable stay. We had a large family vacation with our children and grandchildren. We had great weather and spent every day at the pool. There was plenty of room around the pool for everyone. The dining room was large enough for all 18 of us and the living room was set up nicely to watch movies in the evening. Our host was very responsive to any questions we sent her. All in all, it was a great place to stay

amazing getaway

This property is huge, clean, and gorgeous! me and my wife went for a mini vacation and we were blown away with this place! The host is a great communicator always responding quickly. The grounds are very relaxing, The hot tub is awesome, and the game room in the basement was a great chill. we definitely will be coming back!
