The Condo was very accommodating foe a small family. However a day before arrival my wifes grandfather who was vacationing further down the beach and had suffered a stroke so as soon as we arrived we unpacked and went to see him leaving my sister in laws car behind. When we returned we found that even thuogh this is a gated community and you need a gate code to get in they will tow your vehicle if the pass is not displayed. I did not open the welcome packet until we returned. Anyways, back to the condo. Itvwas clean, a little smaller than i had hoped but we didn't spend much time in there. The view of the creek side is awesome but the balcony is very hot and with the a/c unit sitting on the balcony it makes it twice as hot and the unit takes up a good portion of the balcony which renders it mostly useless.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great stay at Inlet Pointe itself, the view is beautiful and the people are friendly. The floating dock has been destroyed and is in dire need of repair, so we were not able to use it. Our condo, #29, smells like Marge Simpsons' sisters, Patty & Selma spent the week prior to us. A clear in view sign says "THANK YOU FOR NOT SMOKING" but the twins must have not read it. We have been vacationing at Inlet Pointe since 2001 and have always loved it here, but we are noticing a decline in the maintenance of the buildings. The pool was not cleaned for several days and people had to call and complain that there was feces found in the pool. We did not get to swim for a few days because of this. No biggie, there's the beach right across from us. We're hoping that things turn around because we have so many great memories of Inlet Pointe and we totally understand that help is hard to find.

Reviewer Comments: By day the experience was great (den floor rug needs a good vacuum), by night the stay was horrible. the mattresses springs are flat and cannot support a back or body. After three years, we dread going there because of the night experience. We have booked for next year, same time and want another week if new mattresses are replaced. Another Great Week at Inlet Pointe!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I both grew up vacationing at Inlet Pointe and, as adults, it's our favorite spot to return to each year. As always, we enjoyed relaxing on the pool deck, watching sunsets over the inlet and observing the many types of birds, fish and even foxes that call this area home. The water was turned off in our unit when we first arrived, but maintenance quickly remedied the problem. The only issue that we had was loud neighbors above us. This was the second time we stayed in this unit in the past year and the same family was stomping around above our heads both times. We will choose more wisely next time. Thanks for another great stay!

Murrell's Inlet Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Garden City Realty helped us immensely after a terrible experience with Dunes Realty. Dunes failed to tell us that our rented condo was under construction and undergoing major repairs. It was unacceptable for us to stay and the Dunes manager was insulting with his implication that we were the problem. After four hours of searching they referred us to Garden City. We had to rent two condos and we were not ocean front but the Inlet Pointe facility was beautiful. The obnoxious Dunes manager finally split the increase price with me. Unbelievable. We will definitely book with Garden City Realty in the future.

Reviewer Comments: We love staying at inlet pointe, this time we stayed in unit 29 . This unit needed many updates and improvements for example we had issues with the tv Roku not working properly(Wouldn’t connect or would just turn off automatically even with internet), a lot of dirt And dust balls on ceilings, refrigerator, sliding glass door was difficult to look out of , and the shower head not great water pressure.

Reviewer Comments: Bonjour, As a usual guests, my husband and I came in for a great stay. We had some problem with the access code the first days. Meanwhile we realized unit 29 had a great need of spring cleaning by the owner. Like: bugs every where, splashes on walls, greazy kitchen, very dusty fans, among others. Without talking about doors of fridge (not closing well), very fragile stools, no place for our foodstuff etc. All the units we staied before were perfect. We know that Garden City Realty is doing is best, that is why we are doing business with you guys, for many years. But that unit was really desappointing. Lucky we've had the great view of the inlet and the pool and of course the beach and his ocean. This is not a complaint but a situation that should not happened. Thank you for your concern ! Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family owned a unit at Inlet Pointe for many years. We enjoyed the pool, access to the ocean and the inlet. The pier to the inlet has been rebuilt and looks great. Unit 29 is second floor and faces the inlet giving you a great view. Especially at sunset. The unit is in decent condition with tile floors and newer laminate in the bedrooms and bathroom. All the basic needs in the kitchen area are met. The unit is decent but it’s finishes are a bit tired. The beds are all pretty uncomfortable and could use new mattresses. The living room furniture is the same. Serviceable but older. I understand it’s a rental and costs are kept to a minimum, but it’s time for an upgrade. All in all we had a nice week. The Inlet Pointe complex is a unique property with its inlet/ocean access for fishing,crabbing,and clamming. It is in a quieter area but close enough to restaurants and entertainment.

We had a tremendous view of the inlet and could see all the restaurants at the marsh walk in Murrells Inlet. All in all a very nice stay. The amenities at the unit were plentiful. Space was good. Lucky we had the ability to cast from our phones to the TV as there was no cable. Would gladly stay in this complex again.
