Hotels nahe Nikko Toshogu Schatzmuseum (Nikko)

„Everything was really nice especially the shuttle service, but unfortunately we had a firealarm for no apparent reason.“

„The first thing to say is that this hotel is a bit of a walk from the Tobu-Nikko station and probably is better suited to people arriving by car. The second thing to say is that they have a bit of an annoying guest registration where you have to enter a lot of information on a tablet computer, even if you entered it already while booking. But what was so great here was that the room felt really luxurious, the own little onsen bathtub was suprisingly popular with us and we really loved it. The ...

„Hotel is a bit off the beaten tourist track, but worth it for a quiet visit. Great value for money and the host is so kind!! I was traveling solo and felt very welcome and safe. Easy walk to the abyss. By far one of the best dinners and breakfasts I had in Japan!!“

„The hotel was a bid run down and you can tell that it has seen its best times already. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is really great and relaxing. Especially for the price I can only recommend to stay there for a few days. First, the hotel is full of locals and for three days we were the only foreigners. Thus, it was a really authentic experience and we really enjoyed it. Second, the room, food and clothing you get (kimono & sandals) are all traditional Japanese. Third, alongside the public and ...

„Lovely property and a very relaxing environment. Rooms well appointed and the restaurant for dinner was delicious. The site had a very nice shop for practical items, as well as gifts. Location is right on the lake and near the local attractions. Room and package description could have been clearer, as well as more clarity on check-in time restrictions. Despite trying to contact the property well in advance of my stay - I only heard back from them on the day of arrival. Better communication ...
