« We had a lovely relaxing weekend break. Such a beautiful and peaceful location. Chris and Tracey were very warm and welcoming. The cake was a nice surprise. We took our dog, and he really enjoyed himself. The rooms are all large so plenty of room for him to lie down, and we had the use of a field to walk him in. »

« Very comfortable bed. Good food and service. It's an old building, but that's where the character comes from. »

« The property was ideal for a base to visit the surrounding area. Our bedroom and the property generally was clean and tidy. The owner and staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was fine but the 'help yourself' fruit in the dining area was not fresh. Parking could be an issue near the hotel but our disability parking permit helped. »

« The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near. »

« Our 3rd visit in just over 12 months, we love it here. When the suns out it’s even better, being able to sit and have a drink in the manicured gardens. Of course the highlight is the food, simply superb, a little pricey, but worth it for a special occasion. »

« A historic building just off the square, this beautiful B & B never fails. The owner, Ruth, goes out of her way to make sure that you have a comfortable stay, bathed in luxury and quality. places like this are few and far between these days. Superb! »

« It is a comfortable hotel with a slightly old fashioned feel, but it is a historic building and the staff are cheerful and helpful. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable and I appreciated the heavy curtains to cut out the sunlight. The stairs to the second floor were a bit tricky for an older guest when carrying luggage, although staff would have helped. I would certainly return. »

« The wifi is not great. So if you are planning to have some office work, I recommend take 5G device with you. Vodafone 4G worked for us but if you sit near the window. The cottage is nice and as advertised. However, 2 things don't do in its favor: 1) The cottage is surrounded by amazing view but the cottage itself has no view ( the windows open to the street and house opposite). It is bit boring if you plan to spend day inside or on rainy day. 2) The Clun itself has nothing much except for...

« My husband, dog and I absolutely loved our five night break at stable cottage which was clean, modern, comfortable and well equipped. We loved the extra touches of welcome card, flowers and a few treats for us and even the dog! Really thoughtful.. Thanks for making this a wonderful stay. »

« Lovely bright, clean and airy sort of loft apartment above the owner's large detached garage. Very comfortable, well equipped especially the kitchen area so I could self cater. Beautiful walks starting just up the lane. Highly recommended. »
