Although you will be just a couple minutes away from great dining, shopping and local attractions, you'll also be on a quiet stretch of beach that is less crowded and perfect for a family beach day! Just down the road, be sure to visit the Bodie Island Lighthouse where you can climb up to the top for a gorgeous 360-degree view of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding marsh land. If you don't feel like cooking in the morning, head to Sam and Omie's for a delicious home-cooked breakfast. For lunch or dinner, order some fresh seafood from Miller's Waterfront Restaurant, Sugar Creek Seafood Restaurant, The Dunes, or Owens—all within 5 miles of the home.
