« Beautiful sunsets and amazing location charming history through out »

« This property was a wonderful base camp for all of our adventures in the U.P. We also really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and personal touches as well as the back porch lakeside vibe. The only problem we encountered was with the ac unit. It was an unusually hot day for this area when we first arrived and the unit kept throwing a code.The owner was very responsive and helpful, visiting us personally to make sure everything was OK. Would recommend!! »

« Lovely location with beautiful sunset view, beds were comfortable, plenty of fans and there was a space heater for a cool morning. It was nice to have Netflix but there was only 2 users allowed. Might want to consider investing in a better Netflix subscription. »

« This property was even more beautiful in person. It was meticulously maintained and perfectly located down an isolated dirt road with other cabins nearby. The walks on the beach and bonfire under the stars were incredible, as was kayaking on the lake. It is relatively centrally located, close to good public beaches on both Great and small lakes, and while you do have to drive to get places - it's the UP - the drives are beautiful and its a great home base for day trips; we went to Pictures...

« This location is magical. From how quiet it is to how friendly the owners and locals are to how absolutely stunning the lakefront is. There is so much wildlife everywhere and the lakeside walks made me feel 10 years younger. The cabin was lovely, clean and welcoming. Coffee on the porch in the morning and reading inside on the couch in the evening was wonderful.We will definitely be returning, this was one of the best birthday getaways I've ever had. « We had a group of nine and had a blast staying at the house. The house itself is old and very noisy when you walk around but the outdoor spaces made up for it. We loved the decks, hot tub, fire pit and private beach. It was a great location to explore the UP. Our dogs loved it too »

« Beautiful spot and exactly how it was described. The solar power system worked great and lasted a while. The lake was peaceful and calm. The hosts were great and allowed privacy with a separate drive. Nice remote area. Great scenery, tranquil, and peaceful. Great place to stay and definitely would stay again. The hosts are easy to get ahold of and super helpful about the area and the cabin! »

« This cabin was amazing! The owners had everything in the cabin that you needed! So many special things like fire starters, flavored syrup for your coffee, s’mores box and more! As soon as you walk in the cabin you feel at home! My sister and I loved it so much we had a hard time leaving! We will definitely be back! Thunder Cove will always have a special place in our heart! »
