The good: The place was clean. Furnishings were good, bed was comfortable.The bad:* Upon arrival, there were no paper products: no toilet paper, no paper towels. Both were supposed to have been provided. Once I realized this, I advised the host about this immediately. That was at 7:31 pm, and I asked Rhea to have them delivered that evening. She responded that the field staff were all finished for the day, and would try to get them delivered the next day. I think it goes without saying that toilet paper is a pretty fundamental necessity. She could have gotten some delivery service to bring it, but apparently did not think it was important enough to take that step. Her suggestion was that if we needed it sooner, we could go get it ourselves. That shows a callous disregard for the customer, and that, in my mind, is absolutely unacceptable. The next morning by 10:00 it still had not been brought by, so we did, in fact, have to get it ourselves and we walked a non-trivial distance to a grocery store, since we did not have a car at our disposal.* The water pressure in the upstairs shower was almost non-existent. The pressure was so low that not all of the nozzles on the shower head were putting out water, and the ones that did put out water only pushed it out a couple of inches before it fell straight down, so it was necessary to stand right up against the wall under the shower head to shower.* No cleaning products. No dish soap, pods for the dishwasher, unable to do dishes.
