Not a bad place overall. Fit the bill for the family and dogs, but had enough minor annoyances that it wouldn’t be my first choice to rebook if we do this trip again. Biggest miss: it’s advertised as dog-friendly, but there’s no way to close the electronic front gate. I asked Vacasa and was told it isn’t possible, which is frustrating if you’re traveling with dogs.A few comfort/maintenance items stood out. The “queen” beds felt closer to full-size. We fit comfortably in a queen at home (two adults our 7-year-old), but not here. The master bed frame also felt unstable and creaked/shifting constantly. The master bedroom clothes rack is flimsy and a dresser would be a better setup.Several remotes had dead batteries (TV and ceiling fan/light), and there were no AA/AAA spares on-site. The sound system subwoofer also had a constant hum. In the second bathroom, the towel holder was loose, and the faucet sprays aggressively if turned up.Having laundry and a mop vacuum on hand was great, much appreciated. The neighborhood was a mixed bag with a lot of litter and cars racing by at all hours.Overall: functional and fine in a pinch, but the place needs a little more attention and a few basic updates.
