This is the perfect location for privacy but still close to downtown New Braunfels. Easy access to 725 that takes you to I35. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return. Excellent hosts with excellent communication. Very clean, comfortable beds, everything we needed was provided.

Quiet Getaway

If you don’t mind a 10 min drive into town, this is a great quiet weekend away location. Everything was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. Perfect for those looking for a low key weekend.

As a female traveling solo with a young child I appreciated that the rental was on the property with the homeowners main home. We had both our privacy and a feeling of safety. The homeowners were incredibly kind. We plan on staying again next year.

If I could I would give a rating of over 5 stars. Rose was the sweetest hostess and truly she and her husband have made the Pool House so relaxing and comfortable. We hope to be able to return in the future and look forward to an opportunity to visit with Rose again.

Wonderful place

My friends and I rented this location for a girls weekend. Rose greeted us as we arrived and made sure we knew where everything was in the pool house. The house was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Only a 15 min drive to Gruene. The pool was refreshing and there are speakers where you can listen to your music while you swim. It was a very wonderful and relaxing stay.

Impressed with the property & amenities but hostess gave me an impression that i had little privacy. I’ve used Vrbo many times and I’ve never had a host greet me or give me a detailed lesson on the use of their rental which was a bit uncomfortable. I did invite them for a bbq around 9 pm to break the ice but she was getting ready for bed which told me to retire for the night to respect their sleep as well. (Pool hours until 10 w lots of bees in which she said if we don’t bother them they won’t bother us) Also, I’m sure it was a honest mistake but she tried to say I was supposed to leave on a day earlier that was not even my check out-in which I had to show proof of, which she did later apologize for. At that point I felt uncomfortable being there. The renter parking is not close to the rental house so when we decided to move our vehicle closer to property so we could load our bags she immediately came out within minutes later to say we were parked on septic and she asked us to move it and she stayed outside a while while we loaded. I wondered how is she seeing all of this unless she’s watching our every move-very uncomfortable feeling. Although I’m an educator and my company works with law enforcement I felt as if I was being looked upon like as a criminal. Aside from no privacy; her husband seemed kind and the beds were comfortable and the place was really clean,

This property was one of the best maintained and well stocked properties we have stayed at. The pool house was very clean inside and outside, and the pool was sparkling. This location is convenient to all New Braunfels attractions and has multiple places to dine nearby.

Perfect for a sister trip!

My sisters and I stayed in Rose's pool house for a short getaway. The place was clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with anything we would possibly need. Rose met us when we arrived to show us around then checked in each day to see if we needed anything.

We had a great time staying at the Lily Rose Pool House. Everything was very clean and the kitchen contained everything that was needed. The property had a lovely pool that was refreshing . Wonderful Stay!

Stayed with my best friend and everything was perfect! It’s close to the river and Gruene! We enjoyed chatting with Robert and Rose! The pool was awesome and the house was fully stocked! We are going to make it an annual trip!

Anniversary Vacation

Me and my hubby enjoyed our 3 night stay at this beautiful relaxing place. I didn't get to meet the owner, but my hubby did and he said she was very nice. She has the place well decorated and fixed up and has everything you will need to stay and have a great vacation. The bed was very comfortable. Rose thank you so much this was a nice Anniversary stay. I plan to come back again.

Girls Get Away

Loved the place. Only complaint we had was getting to and from the rental. There was no pavers/stepping stones from driveway to rental and with the wet weather our shoes and socks got soaked going to and from. Highly recommend adding something for future renters. Everything else was great.

Great Cozy Place!

This is a great property located within a short drive to all the great places to visit in New Braunfels. The pool house was a nice cozy place to stay...very clean and felt like a hotel but better!! Will definitely visit again.

Cozy Couples Retreat

This property and the owners are everything the reviews say and more. The property was adorable and the owners were wonderful hosts. They were attentive and so friendly. We enjoyed our stay and hereby leave this review as the best couples vacation we have ever been on. The pool was beautiful and the pool house was just like a hotel but so much more. We can't wait till we can stay again!

My boyfriend and I had a nice two night stay at the pool house. Rose and Robert have gone above and beyond to add extra little touches to make their guests feel comfortable. The two king beds provide ample room for a fun girl’s weekend or if you just want to get away from your significant other for a night! The two window units keep the room cool as well as the ceiling fans. The patio is spacious with 4 ceiling fans, lots of seating, a really nice gas grill and a cooler to put your drinks in. They also provided a few pool noodles and a sun bathing mat. The pool is kept clean and the umbrella provides some nice shade. The pool house is about 3-4 miles out of town so while it’s a nice getaway, it’s not too far out of the way if you want to grab dinner, go to Schlitterbahn or float the river. We had a good time and would definitely recommend the pool house to anyone looking for a weekend getaway.
