« This rustic cabin in the woods was a perfect get away for unplugging and unwinding. WiFi and tvs allowed the teen to still feel connected, while the hammock, screened in porch, fire pit and natural surroundings created a sense of serenity. Clean, simple accommodations and friendly, non-intrusive host included helped make this a great stay. »

« Perfect get away to find peace and recharge. Spent four nights at Lakota to escape the DC hustle and left refreshed. Bed was very comfortable as was the couch and outside furniture. Kitchen is well equipped. The cabin sits back from the main road and is obscured by trees from the road behind so plenty of privacy and quiet. The recently graded and smoothed access road is gravel which wasn't an issue with our SUV and we saw plenty of non-SUV vehicles going up and down (early September)....

« A peaceful and relaxing anniversary getaway in the mountains. We especially enjoyed the Nespresso machine, high-quality bedding and pillows, room-by-room temperature control, and a variety of ways to enjoy the outdoor space. WiFi and phone service were great despite the remote location. Tips: access is via a long, narrow gravel road, so drive carefully. « We couldn’t be more happy with our stay. In fact, we wanted to extend our vacation! The house was very clean and had comfortable beds. The host was great at communication and so hospitable. Our dog loved the yard and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub as the sun went down, looking at the gorgeous view! »

« We had an absolute wonderful time! It was so relaxing and the descriptions were spot on. After reading the reviews, we brought our foam mattress cover for the bed and it made a big difference. The public fishing spot near the cabin is also a boat launch spot so we had some traffic while fishing but we still caught some fish! Rivers Edge is also on the corner lot so we felt it was very private and highly recommend! The hot tub was also a perfect touch. 10/10 vacation! Thanks Tony! »
