Come immerse yourself in the true experience, where white tablecloths still cover two-tops, the waiter knows both your name and your preferences, and sweet smells waft the streets. They’re all on offer, as are the dazzling array of goods that can be found in the locally owned shops on Oak & Maple and Freret & Magazine, or music at Preservation Hall.
This perfectly constructed space features hardwood floors, sun filled windows, stylish upgraded kitchen with island dining, rounded out by high-end furnishings and decor throughout.
This property is beaming with special amenities including large flatscreen SmartTV in the living room, plush linens and bedding in the bedroom, in-unit washer and dryer, private backyard patio, and situated in a well appointed neighborhood!
Please note the the home is one half of a duplex, so you may be able to hear sounds from the neighboring unit if it is occupied at the same time. The home is also located on busy street, so traffic sounds can be heard during the day, but quiet down at night. This is a perfect setting for an individual or couple looking to explore the city! Our home can sleep up to 2 guests. The bedroom configurations are as follows:

The home is professionally cleaned prior to every stay and stocked with kitchen essentials, bathroom toiletries, linens and towels for your group.
From beautiful sights, taste bud tingling foods, and vibrant live music, who wouldn’t want to visit?! We recommend using public transportation, including streetcars, buses, Uber or Lyft during your stay. For another fun way to explore the area, try Blue Bikes, a ride sharing bike rental all around the city. If you are driving in, there is free parking on the street, but it is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Upon acceptance of your reservation, you will receive a welcome letter containing all of the information you need to access the home and ensure your stay is a memorable one! If you have any additional questions, we are available at any time to assist.
**There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Please see the rental agreement (required to be read and signed before booking) for more details. *** Everyone comes to New Orleans to enjoy themselves and have a good time and we encourage all guests to do so. Please remember though, that we are also a place of rest and relaxation. We strive very hard to maintain a very balanced ambiance to ensure all our guests can enjoy their stay. We kindly ask all guests to please observe the following:
1. Please respect our check-in/out times.
2. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the condominium (this includes balconies, hallways, stairways, and entry). Smoking is only allowed on the courtyards (if applicable). Smoking in any condominium will result in a cleaning/disinfecting fees of $300 or more.
3. All guests should come and go in a quiet respectful manner that does not intrude on any other guests' enjoyment. Quiet hours are between 11:00pm and 10:00am. We ask that you come and go with soft steps and quiet voices.
4. The condos are equipped with hardwood floors, please be mindful of guests below and refrain from walking with heels or hard soles excessively.
5. Please provide us with all the names of your guests. We should already have the names of all guests occupying the condominium before arrival. If we do not have a person's name, we will not consider them a guest. (Especially important in the case of a lockout or emergency.)
6. Balconies, courtyards, and condos are for the exclusive use of registered guests only. Glassware is not allowed on balconies. Guests should never hang off or lean over balconies. Dangerous or unsafe activities are not allowed on balconies. Guests should always use common sense and good judgment in their behavior.
7. Parties or gatherings of any type are not allowed in the condominium, courtyard, or balconies. Please do not use the property as a gathering place for others not staying here. There are several bars very close by which can be used for this purpose.
8. Please do not share your access code with anyone not staying here; this includes friends, family, and especially DELIVERY PERSONS. Please meet all delivery persons at the front door.
9. Loud, rude, obnoxious, disrespectful, or disorderly behavior is not allowed at any time. We will give one courtesy warning for any such behavior. If such behavior continues, you and your party will be evicted without refund. If necessary, we will call NOPD for assistance.
10. We will bill for any permanently stained/ruined towels and linens. For your convenience, we have provided makeup removal pads in the condominium. Linens, blankets, bathrobes, and towels are not to be removed from the condominium. Please do not take these items to parks or festivals.
11. Normal cleaning fees are included in all rental rates, and you are not required to clean before checking out, however we will bill for any excessive/abnormal cleaning, damages, or missing items, or service calls. Below are the prices we will charge for specific missing items: Large towels- $55 each Medium towels- $45 each Hand towels- $25 each Bathrobes- $150 each Sheet sets- $125 each Blankets- $75 each Pillows- $75 each Pillow cases- $75 each
12. Plumbing in the Marigny is very old and can clog very easily. Please do not ever flush anything other than toilet paper, regardless of what any packaging may say ESPECIALLY make-up wipes or any feminine products.
13. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or left behind items. Please make sure to check the property to ensure you have all your belongings before you check out.
14. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo” it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.
15. Rooftops and fire escapes are for emergencies only and are not to be used for any other reason. Any violation of this rule will result in immediate eviction without refund.
16. All of our TV's are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out. We do not have cable TV.
17. RVs / Campers / Trailers are not allowed on the premises.
18. External power outlets can not be hooked up to the property under any circumstance.
19. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know the day before and we will determine if it's possible. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested through Airbnb after your additional time has been approved. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.
20. Lost Items: We return lost items for a $75 flat fee. This is to cover shipping costs, along with the time spent to retrieve & mail your item. If you leave anything at the unit, please let us know immediately.
