This is a private two story home in Uptown New Orleans, reached by five stoop steps from the sidewalk. The First Floor holds the open concept living and dining area, the kitchen, and one bedroom with its own ensuite full bathroom. The remaining three bedrooms are upstairs, one with an ensuite full bathroom and two sharing a full hallway bathroom, so the group can spread out across both floors.

Our home sits in Uptown New Orleans, on the stretch of Tchoupitoulas where the city feels lived in rather than visited. Corner bars, breweries, and neighborhood restaurants are close at hand, and Magazine Street's shops and galleries run parallel just a few blocks up. The Irish Channel begins nearby, with its shotgun cottages and Victorian millwork, and the Garden District's oak lined streets and antebellum mansions are a short trip east. All guests receive a list of local recommendations after booking, including favorite spots, restaurants, and activities.



Getting Around:

Getting around New Orleans from here is easy. Rideshare is readily available, and the city is bike friendly with rental outlets throughout. The St. Charles streetcar line is a short trip away for a ride into the Central Business District and the edge of the French Quarter. Three mid-size off street parking spaces are available at the home, or one larger vehicle, with free on street parking nearby.



One thing to plan for: this home sits on a standard New Orleans parade route. Watching the floats roll past is a real treat, though moving around the city takes longer during Mardi Gras, St. Patrick's Day, and other parade heavy holidays. On those days, give yourself extra time if you are driving, or leave the car behind and enjoy the spectacle on foot.

HOUSE DISCLOSURES

–We try our best to accommodate early check-ins, but we want to ensure the entirety of the house is clean and prepared for arrival. We can often accommodate early bag drop for your convenience. Please inquire if this is of interest to your group!

–On street parking is limited on most major holidays, so please pay close attention to posted street signage and obey all parking rules.

–If you need a visit from our maintenance or property management teams while a parade is rolling, please allow extra time, as they also need to obey road closures and detours.

–This home sits near an active freight line, and trains pass by. Most guests find it part of the neighborhood's charm, but if anyone in your group is a light sleeper, we recommend the rear bedrooms, which are the quietest in the house.

–We have a minimum age requirement for booking this rental. Reservation holder must be 21 years or older.

–We request that guests complete a guest verification process and sign an additional agreement prior to receiving any check-in information.

–We require that guests provide a valid credit card and piece of ID for identification purposes only.

–We do not accept peer-to-peer payment systems or any prepaid debit cards as methods of payment.

–Pets are not allowed at this property.

–Packages mailed to the property cannot be received by the host. The host is not responsible for lost or damaged packages and cannot guarantee their arrival.

–We use Arlo/Hikvision and Noise Aware in our homes. Arlo/Hikvision is a video recording system that has been installed at the front/back doors of the home’s EXTERIOR ONLY, for your safety. NoiseAware is a decibel monitoring system that we use to keep in accordance with local noise regulations.
