« Great location! My mom and I absolutely loved the General’s Hideaway for our trip to Gettysburg. We even loved the pool table and played a few games. We brought my Mom’s service dog with us and the hosts made sure to include a bed and supplies for him if needed, which was very sweet of them. We brought food to cook during our stay and finding everything in the kitchen was a breeze! We loved the layout. The beds were extremely comfortable as well. « This property was exactly as described and was perfect for our family! It was close enough to the town and all the things we wanted to do but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The host checked on us and was very responsive when needed but really left us to do our thing. The house had modern amenities while still having all of the charm of a century home. Would definitely stay here again! »

« House was perfect, great location and so much personality and charm. Plenty of space, lots of bathrooms, great for 5 women. Loved the fire pit! Our host was exceedingly accommodating to our requests, and quickly came to our rescue when we mismanaged the lock on the back door. A great experience, would recommend to anyone. »
