« We had an amazing time at the cottage. It is very user friendly and right off the west mountain. Unfortunately the chair was closed but we could skin to the top from the cottage. Very confortable for a party of 11 friends, would highly recommend. »

« This was the perfect house for our ski trip to Sugarloaf. The house was clean, with all the fixings needed, extra towels for the hot tub even! There was a shuttle to pick us up to bring us to the mountain. Loved it and hope we can go back again next year! »

« If you haven't seen the movie On Golden Pond, you can watch it on YouTube. You'll know exactly what to expect for decor and ambience.This was an exceptional experience! Someone posted about the screen door slamming each time you closed it. My Great Grandparents door did the same, when I didn't control it. I felt like that excited little kid, each time I heard it. We rarely went inside. The screen porch was too peaceful. The loon sounds were mesmerizing. Don't be envious that you have less sun....

« My family loved our stay at this cozy home on the lake. The views of Porter Lake are stunning and nothing beats having your morning coffee while watching the sun rise up over the lake and listening to the loons say good morning. Being able to kayak or canoe out onto the lake for fishing or exploring the nearby beach was great. « We had a wonderful stay at the house! It was perfect for the family and my 78 year old mom who stayed in the downstairs bedroom. She sat on the back porch every morning to eat her breakfast watching for wildlife. She saw turkeys but no deer. I would stay here again and hope that we spend time in Maine again soon. »

« We had a wonderful stay! The location is absolutely beautiful and close to Rangeley for restaurants etc. The cabin was very clean and cozy with a nice bathroom and kitchen. We all slept well and enjoyed having the canoe and kayaks! »
