« We enjoyed our time in Norfolk! The cottage was a short walk to the beach where we spent most of our time. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were available to answer any questions we had. The upstairs area was a great place for our 3 children to spend some time relaxing. »

« If you’re looking for a place for you to have a safe space with your family, young or old, with all the amenities that you would want from your own home this is it. If you’re a veteran, there’s multitude of bases nearby with commissary’s to get groceries for the week to help the budget. »

« The home had so many great features, including the outdoor shower, a fully stocked kitchen, and fun family games to enjoy in the evenings. The neighborhood had a great vibe with plenty of walkable options, yet the house still felt quaint and tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We loved every part of our stay! »

« The cottage was cozy and clean. We enjoyed the sunset from the outside porch. We also enjoyed the kayaks and family atmosphere of the community. The closeness to the beach was convenient as well. The dryer may need to be repaired because it runs very rough. »

« We loved staying at Sandy Mutts ! Communication was great , location and access to the beach was convenient and perfect as well. We only stayed for a couple of nights but it was just what we needed. We brought our chihuahua and kitty along and they were comfortable and happy. We did bring our own towels and it worked for us. I will definitely be coming back. »

« The cottage was clean and exactly as the picture. It was at 5 minutes walk from the ocean, perfect. However, The codeed lock broke and we lost half a day locked out side. Also, we lost the Wifi connexion on wenesday and the onwer did nothing to get the Wifi back. Result. No connexion, for the major part of our stay (4/7days). This situation had a major impact on our trip because the wifi was our only way to be able to use our cellphone. Activities reservation, Uber eat sercives, emmergencies...

« We showed up and found a clean and cool spot to stay the night. The beach access is only a 5 minute walk to the bay. This was spectacular! We were also only 1 mile from Jessie's Taquaria which is thr Mexican food in Norfolk. Overall this property checked all our boxes. »

« This was the perfect house for our family of four! We can to town for a lacrosse tournament and we enjoy having a comfortable place to relax after a day of games. Danna's house is so absolutely perfect and clean. Such a stunningly beautiful home, inside and out. Danna is so thoughtful and we had the most beautiful fresh cut flowers lovingly placed throughout the house. Having the golf cart to go to the beach was handy and fun! We highly recommend spending time at Salt Heir!!! We hope to be back...

« As the listing describes, this is an older house that has some updating needed. It was decently clean (there was a lot of stained carpets and such, but we were expecting that from the listing description). It didn't smell and we didn't see any bugs. The beds were comfy, the location was nearby everything we were visiting and it was on the beach. There were a few issues we had when we got there and they were resolved quickly.
