« I needed a place to stay for one night after an evening event in Scunthorpe. Gary and Sue were welcoming and most accommodating to my need for a late evening return. Good clean room with iron and tea made available. Well worth the money. »

« Had no choice but to book a room on the first floor that was meant for people who need "assistance". Room had zero charm at all and I felt like I was in a hospital especially in the bathroom. « Points positifs : l'accueil par une employée très sympathique,serviable et à l'écoute ; et la chambre était très correct niveau propreté. Point négatif : extrêmement bruyant ! D'autres clients parlaient fort, écoutaient de la musique à fond et passaient leur temps à claquer les portes toute la nuit... La 1ère nuit ça a duré jusqu'à minuit, puis ça a repris vers 4h jusqu'au matin. Et la 2ème nuit, on a pu dormir sans bruit entre minuit et 5h du matin seulement... »

« While the room was cheap it wasn’t very clean the shower was filthy the windows was filthy the vinyl the soap dispensers was very dirty, had a hand towel with the edges all frailed at the ends no light as you come out the room onto the landing I was left a soft brown banana that was left for the breakfast two days in a row and a slight brown apple . The breakfast sandwich was a cold defrosted bacon and sausage sandwich with the date it was frozen or defrosted on it I can’t remember. I’ve stayed...

« Le restaurant est vraiment bien. Malheureusement pour avoir une bonne nuit (ce qui reste l'essentiel dans mon cas), c'est compliqué quand la chambre est au dessus des cuisines dans une vieille bâtisse... Bruiante jusqu'à plus de 23h puis ça repart avec réception marchandise à 6h. »

« On the first night, we had a fire alarm at 3 a.m. It took the night auditor 30 minutes to turn it off. No complimentary gesture or apology was offered. The hotel is outdated for a 4-star property. The bathroom silicone is moldy, the carpet is stained and needs a deep clean, and the room was very dusty. The reception staff were not helpful, the phone was not working in a room so hard to get the reception.. and when the shower temperature kept going from very hot to very cold. Coffee and tea were...
