« This home is fully furnished and lacks nothing. The beds are comfortable, linens and towels clean and not worn/frayed/stained. Kitchenware was in newer condition. The lake is a beautiful setting. Although it is in a wooded area, the property is sprayed early in season and was not an issue. GPS took us right to address. Amy was a terrific host. « Not only was the space perfect, but the owners made it that much better. Across the street there is a creek that is so fun to play in. They have an outdoor cooking area that protects you from weather but is so much fun to cook on. The screen room is for games and the humming birds are so silly to watch. There is a fire pit outside and an abundance of nature. The outdoor shower is relaxing too. The beds are so comfy and you have everything you need inside that place. We will be coming back here,...

« We enjoyed our stay at the cabin--everything was very clean and well organized, with coffee and tea, all the utensils and pots one would need. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of towels. We especially enjoyed the fact that there was a fire pit--lovely for a warm evening. We were able to get back and forth to Colby College in 30 minutes and had dinner in Skowhegan. »

« The house and location gorgeous. Wildlife and stars galore. Loons are amazing. I wish it would have come with a canoe. If you like birds and nature, you should be here. My young granddaughters absolutely loved the long deck and screened in porch. And the grassy areas. And the walk by the lake. »

« Overall this was a very nice place. I would not call it a 3 bedroom though. It is a 2 bedroom with lofts. One of the 2 lofts is large like a bedroom, but the ladders to the lofts are straight up and difficult to climb. As long as you know before booking, you can decide if this will be a problem for your family. »

« The view was amazing. The cabin tho was nothing like expected. It's currently being renovated, but the walls are nothing but installation, the flooring isn't finished at all. There is electricity and tv, but no water and the bathroom is not finished but there is a port a potty outside that is completely disgusting. Overall the view is great but the place definitely needs a lot. »

« Was beautiful and quiet. Perfect for a gathering. BUT hot tub overheated once and was 111 (WAY too hot to get into), and it kept tripping the breaker so had to keep resetting it. Also departing conditions says to put trash in dumpster. Couldn’t find a dumpster anywhere on the property or road, ended up having to bring it home in a car. But over all was a great place to stay. May go back again with family. Was beautiful and just want 6 mommas needed for a Mother’s Day weekend get away. »

« Found the cabin on the second try, it’s hidden in plain sight, right off the road. Hosts provided welcoming touches like a personal sign and flowers. It’s a basic setup much like camping and we brought some basic kitchen stuff and lighting devices, which helped. The stream was full and flowing fast and loud, but subsided over time. « This cabin is lovely - a beautiful location, very comfortable. Pam and Larry are great hosts; very communicative and helpful. We had a very relaxing stay overall. We had some unfortunate timing, with the lake experiencing a persistent algae bloom that made the water inaccessible to swimming or water sports, but we made the best of it - exploring other area lakes and ponds for swimming (in particular, McGrath Pond had a hidden gem of a local swimming spot!), I would highly recommend this...

« We did not enjoy our stay at all! We had no idea how far it was off the main road and had to call the property manager and she assured us we were on the right road. We finally found the chain link fence but could not locate the mailbox for the keys. I thought a mailbox would be beside the road. We called the property manager a second time and she did not answer.
