« My wife and I absolutely loved spending the day reading and relaxing by the wood stove looking out over the fields, watching sunrises together. The check in process was easy, and everything was clean and extremely well maintained. The bed was fantastic to sleep on. We loved it so much we booked an extra night! It's a short drive to St. Andrews and a number of farm shops and other small towns. Well worth the stay! »

« First time in Pittenweem. The flat was small but we didn’t need anything bigger. Space had been used carefully and was well furnished. When the wood burning stove got going it made for a cosy experience. Pleasant seafront area nearby and Anstruther is only half a mile or so away. St. Andrews is about 20 minutes by car. Well worth a short visit (three nights for us). »

« We really enjoyed our stay at Chesnut Cottage ! Very cosy, warm, welcoming little house ! Thank you for welcoming us and our dog ! The Arniston Estate is lovely, very calm. A nice place for walks. Very dark at night, we had the chance to see plenty of stars when the sky was clear enough. The fireplace with everything needed and the bathtube were the cherry on top ! Easy to access from Edinburgh airport. The train station of Gorebridge is also a big plus. 25min by train and you're in the town...

« An excellent property to rent outside of Edinburgh. Perfect for dogs and families. The cottage was warm and well lit when we arrived and the fireplace was already prepped with a basket full of logs. The manager of the property was very friendly and she came over to introduce herself and check we had everything we needed. Strongly recommend and will be going back. »

« L’appartement de King Stables était malheureusement indisponible en raison d’une fuite d’eau importante. Sonia nous a alors proposé un autre logement plus spacieux, mais un peu plus décentré, sur Stockbridge. Elle s’est régulièrement assurée que tout allait bien. Elle fut vraiment charmante et efficace! Nous avons adoré notre logement et le quartier de Stockbridge. »

« We loved this location and thought the cottage was super cute. The fridge was dirty upon arrival and we messaged them via chat to let them know but they never messaged back, so we just cleaned it ourselves. The cottage is old which gives it character, but it could be cleaned better. There were many cobwebs and bugs in the cottage which wasn’t ideal. Overall, we would recommend the location but advise the owners to clean it better. »

« Absolutely beautiful stay. The lodge itself was gorgeous, in a great setting and the views are spectacular. Quiet and peaceful, no disturbance whatsoever. The surroundings are just spectacular. We mentioned it was our little minimoon and they very kindly left us some chocolates and a bottle of fizz. Amazing stay exactly what we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer xxxx »
