I cannot stress how glad I am that we found Beach Please and booked our annual family vacation there. The owner, Katie, is incredibly responsive and provided a wealth of information about the area's things to do and places to eat/shop. And the home itself is gorgeous.
Our group of 10 had plenty of space and enjoyed the layout and amenities of the house. The kitchen is well stocked to allow for home cooked meals, and has a dishwasher. There is a wood pellet grill that we intended to use but never got around to.
The bathrooms are clean. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a washer and dryer conveniently located on the same floor as the kitchen/living area. The bar area under the house is perfect for hanging out and catching up, and it has its own refrigerator to keep drinks nice and cold.
There was plenty of parking space for our 4 cars (2 of which were large SUVs) and we could have easily fit another, if necessary. The house is on a lovely canal and walking distance to the beach. It's close enough to the beach to be convenient but far enough away that the street is quiet and away from heavy traffic.
The house is stocked with beach toys and goods, cornhole, and a ring catch game that had the teenagers competing to see who could successfully catch the ring first and the most times. And between the downstairs bar/gathering area and the many seating options on the decks and in the living room/kitchen, we had our choice of locations to hang out and reconnect with each other.
This home was the perfect location for our family gathering and Katie was a wonderful host. If we return to N Myrtle Beach, or make it to Gatlinburg, where she has another rental property, I intend to rent from her again. As I stated in the review title, I'd give Beach Please (and Katie) more than 5 stars if I could. If you book Beach Please, you will not be disappointed.
