Start making memories at Myrtle Beach by strolling down 1 block on a quiet street and sinking your weary feet into the warm sand. Feel the sunshine melt away the cares of life as you watch the kids splash in the ocean, having the time of their lives, or get lost in a good book and doze off to the sound of the waves rolling in and out. Feel like trying your hand with rod and reel? Cherry Grove fishing pier is only 2 blocks away, and when you’re ready to grill up the day’s catch, feel free to use the grill and picnic area. With numerous shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby, there will never be a moment of boredom. Or you could just stick around and enjoy the sparkling community pool and basketball courts. If you need to refresh your closet, Robinson Family offers laundry facilities, as well. Your perfect day begins here!

It's quiet and all of the neighbors renting coming in the other units have been exceptionally nice & respectful. The pool is ALWAYS clean! For the price you pay all of the Retreat Myrtle Beach properties are an AMAZING deal!

Family vacation

Our stay was great! Great location, enough space and quick access to the beach and a pool. My only complaint was the upstairs floor/bottom floor ceiling. I don’t know if the people above us were heavy footed or just loud but it was very apparent when someone was walking across the room upstairs. So much so that my young child asked why the ceiling fan was shaking.

We brought our two large breed dpgs, so staying on the first floor was very convenient. I want to brag on and thank the maintenance oncall guy which was very nice and prompt, we had an issue with the air conditioner but he had someone over there to fix it with then 30 minutes. Great costumer service.

We also decided to stay in the same beach house, Robinson Family 1. It’s a great layout, peaceful & safe area, pet friendly (with affordable pet deposit) about a 5 minute walk to the Cherry Grove Pier, adjacent to Walmart & Dollar Tree, the beach is just a short walk over N. Myrtle Beach Blvd... I could go on & on. The staff at Retreat are warm, inviting, & very friendly. We go during non-peak time in the Fall. It’s a great time to go for my family, because it’s affordable, perfect weather 98% of the time, beaches not crowded, & great treasures to find on the beach. We also got the privilege to meet the owner this year.

Cons:We hated the built in table and benches which were awkward and uncomfortable. I wished there would have been just one full length mirror. The built in beds were very difficult to make because of the proximity to the walls.We found the couches quite uncomfortable, and it was awkward not to have at least one chair that you could sit on.We had been told the washer and dryer would be free, but when we arrived there were coin operated machines (but only one each to share between everyone), and this was very inconvenient as we had no local bank, and obtaining sufficient coins for regular use was difficult. Despite these issues, we would recommend the property because the street was not a through street, the beach was close, and we love the area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In 2023 we rescued a feral cat who blessed us with a litter of kittens. Me , being the softy that I am, kept one of the kittens. It is very hard to find a rental that allows cats. I was so sad that we weren’t going to be able to go to North Myrtle Beach for the winter when I came across Retreat North Myrtle Beach. We were able to get a the cottage for two months so we were really happy. When we arrived the cottage looked pretty much like it’s pictures online. Check in was simple with a code for the lock box. The cottage could have been cleaner. Floors were gritty and needed mopped. My biggest dislike was the stationary furniture. The beds don’t move and they are so close to the wall that you can’t get on the one side to make the beds, you have to crawl over the top. Otherwise we were happy to be there. We had great neighbors and made some lifelong friends.

Robinson cottage Good location nice pool The front and back balconies we’re awesome Air conditioning was great —had trouble several times with the cable television but service team was very responsive and it took a few days to resolve most of the problems — the kitchen cabinets could use some work the floor was very dirty you couldn’t even walk on it without shoes you’re socks you get black in the matter of minutes — The kitchen could use some more utensils and basic necessities for cooking but overall we had a great experience
