« We had a great stay as a group of friends. The photos really dont do it justice - there is plenty of space in this light, airy, gorgeous bungalow. Really enjoyed using the well-stocked kitchen and the hot tub was a lot of fun. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay. »

« Would be difficult and unfair to offer any negative comments about this accommodation. Even better as a positive comment is the property does NOT allow Pets! Excellent. Additionally the private parking at the property is superb. I would definitely recommend and look forward to returning to the property in Wooler. « A very lovely, light house with a nice sense of space. The staircase with the bathroom to the left and rooms to the right with lovely big windows was really special when used to living in a one bedroom flat in London. The town is beautiful and it's wonderful being so close to everything. The people are friendly and Northumberland is just magical. We cant wait to return one day. »

« A Lovely little cottage with all the tech you need in great location and our own gardener (Ted). We had a great time in a great little town. Only teeny issue was that Master bedroom is up very steep stairs so we snuggled up in the other bedroom: otherwise can’t fault a thing. Helen was really easy to contact and enable access. »

« We visited Driftwood for a long weekend. This was a really comfortable, well set up holiday home. Very well equipped, loads of games and puzzles, lots of beach’s equipment too. Embleton is a perfect base for exploring the area and is only about a 20 minute walk to the beach. From there you can of course walk for mikes and miles in either direction. 10/10 »

« We love this part of the Northumberland coast and visit regularly, and we did have a good time. I do think this cottage is overpriced for the quality of accommodation. The kitchen and main bedroom are very nice but the rest is a little tired. The furniture is miss matched flat pack and the bedding is of poor quality. One of the sofas is very uncomfortable (kids said like their student digs) the curtains are far too thin and don’t keep the cold out, we had to buy a lot of wood to keep the lounge...

« This house is outstanding. Elaine caters for everyone especially children and as we know when the kids are happy the adults can relax. We have stayed for the third time last weekend , it is such a central area with a beach minutes away also. We will be back certainly. »

« Fabulous cottage in a quiet setting. Airy and light & welcoming. Nice big dining kitchen with (more than!) everything we needed. View from sitting room over the hills was lovely. A great position to trek out from - so near to Cragside National Trust, which is a must! We also visited Wallington & Gibside NT & Holy Island. Thankyou for entrusting us with your home from home - we will definitely be back to explore more of this beautiful area. »

« The property is very nice, nicely furnished and very clean. We did feel that it lacked in terms of things provided, such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, just one USED dishcloth. No welcome pack with instructions, and parking was very confusing. We unpacked the car a the rear of the house, which upset the neighbour. We parked in the nearby public car park for the duration of our stay. We were also disappointed to find out that there was no live TV channels. »

« The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things...
