« The room was clean and tidy however the shower extractor wasn’t working also a none slip bath mat would be good and the heating could have been better and a small fridge would be good,,, the food in the restaurant was really good and friendly staff,,, all that said we would stay there again,, 4 out of 5 stars »

« We've stayed before - same problem as last time. It was cold and the heating was only put on after some persistence from us. The staff here do not have control of the heating so it is hard for them to respond to a reasonable request for warmth »

« A very well appointed pub with accommodation. Good beers and food. Great cooked breakfast. I found it hard to first locate the entrance to the pub car park and, when i did, hard to park up. »

« The station hotel bar areas where really nice up to date, clean and nice decor, outside area, near for when the weather is good, also do food, staff are really welcoming, polite and genuine, rooms are are large, tv w/c, could do with an update in decor id say, maybe en-suits in all rooms. But good rooms to stay over whilst working away and such. Found the kingsize bed very comfy, i would definitely stay again, good prices to. »

« Superb place to stay if you’re going to Rock City. It’s literally next door. Great staff and a little shop of sorts selling snacks and juices to take to your room. A mean to cup coffee machine and pastry in the morning is a great touch. »

« Room 8- the bathroom had a bit of a strange smell. This is just a comment, no a complaint. The main door doesn't always close properly. These are just little things- overall very good. »
