We love the Caribe and have stayed here annually with our extended family for many years. We love the facilities and being close to the beach. However, this condo was a disappointment. While the living room view is amazing (like the pictures), there were lots of issues. On arrival, the main refrigerator was broken and a much smaller, run-down refrigerator had been added to hold us over. The property manager didn't even tell us in advance. She was surprised when we told her. Apparently, the service man had been there to fix it before but never received approval to buy the part to finish the repair. As a result, the refrigerator wasn’t fixed until day 5 and we couldn’t use it until day 6. This was a hassle because we had to spend significant time moving food back and forth with our other condo and since our parents in their late 70's, it was a major inconvenience. There were other issues. Garbage disposal was broken. The toilet and one faucet in the master bath were in need of repair—faucet won’t turn off completely, the toilet very sluggish—and the jacuzzi didn’t work. We reported these issues but no one ever came to fix them. Also, no iron, hair dryer, or Keurig coffee machine. Internet was unreliable and we had to use hotspots for work calls. One of the two recliners was broken so we could only use one. There was only one comfortable chair on the deck, no cushions, and a shoddy rug that was a trip hazard for our elderly parents.
