This was our 10th year renting a VRBO house for our family vacation. While I know things won't always be perfect, I didn’t expect to spend most of our trip dealing with issues. The house is beautiful, but maintenance is lacking. When we arrived a little after 4 PM, the cleaning crew manager was still there, freshening up the rooms since the house hadn’t been rented in a while. This should have been done earlier. We unloaded our cars while she finished the upstairs bathrooms.
After unpacking, we realized the Wi-Fi wasn't working, a major issue since half our party were teens and we had internet-dependent activities planned. I contacted the management company and was asked to troubleshoot the router myself over the phone. Although I managed, I shouldn’t have had to deal with this on vacation. The person I spoke with didn't apologize and seemed indifferent when resetting the router didn't work. The internet was finally fixed on day 3 of our 5-day stay.
Upon arrival, we were also informed that some upstairs TVs weren't working; they were replaced the next day. The kitchen lacked large pots, making it difficult to cook meals for 20 people. Additionally, the upstairs bedrooms closest to the road were very hot at night and didn’t have ceiling fans, so we had to buy fans at Target.
On the positive side, the downstairs bedrooms were cool at night, and the kids' rooms were cute, especially the Toy Story room. The game room was great, offering a variety of games different from what w
