Beim Check Inn wurden wir sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Wir bekamen ein kostenloses Upgrade auf eine Suite ohne danach gefragt zu haben, es war großartig. Alle Räume der Suite waren sauber und sehr modern eingerichtet. Auch beim Frühstück wurden wir wieder freundlich und zuvorkommend empfangen. Es gab eine gute Auswahl an Sizilianischen Gepäck, frisches Obst, Wurst etc. Auch hier alles Top! Hotel absolut zentral, 5 Minuten Fußweg zum Bus der einen in ca 40 Minuten zum Flughafen bringt.

Very good downtown location - we had one of the new rooms in the 6th floor , good bed & bath. Staff is very friendly , breakfast quite good. No distrubance from the city but it can be noisy if your neighbors are of such kind - earplugs help.

Very friendly
Hotel Alma is characterised above all by its very friendly and courteous staff. They are always ready to help. The rooms offer everything you need. The highlight at breakfast is - besides the many other cakes - the homemade Cassata. We'd book any time again!

Gutes Hotel in einer hippen Stadt
Ich gebe diesem Hotel die Maximalbewertung, obwohl es im Quartier sehr laut ist und darunter der Schlafkomfort leiden kann. Palermo ist eine laute Stadt, will man Geräuschlos schlafen, muss man ausserhalb der Stadt ein Hotel suchen. Wir waren beeindruckt von der Freundlichkeit des Personals. Jeden Morgen wurden selbstgebackene Kuchen mit suchtpotenzial serviert zusammen mit frischen Früchten, gutem Kaffee uns jeder Menge anderer leckereien. Auch um das parkieren des Fahrzeugs muss nan sich nicht selber kümmern. Das Auto wird abgeholt und sicher parkiert und bei Bedarf wieder vorgefahren. Alles ist zu Fuss gut erreichbar, das Zimmer war toll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und das Bett bequem. Wir empfehlen es und würden es wieder buchen.

Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung
Kleines im Zentrum von Palermo gelegenes Hotel. Die Freundlichkeit und Liebenswuerdigkeit des Gastgeberehepaares und seinem Team kann man nicht mehr überbieten. Hier ist der Gast noch wirklich Koenig. Das Hotel befindet sich im 3. OG eines unscheinbaren Gebaeudes. Die Innenräume hingegen sind in modernem Stil liebevoll gestaltet.

We only stayed here one night but it was a great experience. The gentleman who checked us in was terrific and the stay was very pleasant. The location is walking distance to a lots of restaurants and attractions. We would stay here again for a longer stay.

The folks at the reception desk are super friendly and super helpful. The communication prior to arrival was great. We had a 2 room suite that was very comfortable. The location was central to the older part of Palermo. 2 restaurants i suggest you reserve ahead of time, Locale and Nona Dora

I rated this as 2 stars for the following reasons: Cons - Parking was terrible, there is no breezway or hotel specific reception on the street. I had to double park, go up to the 2nd floor and let reception know I had arrived. THey called their valet who came in 10 min but by that time a bus was yelling at my family to move. - I had to ask the reception to come help with bags and it took 3 trips because the elevator is slow and small. - We came back to the 2nd floor for some reason just to be told to go to the 4th floor to our room. - Room was extremely noisy all night long with people moving furniture, very loud road noise and lots of light (curtains have small slits in them). This was a problem for us mostly since we were traveling with a 20month old but my wife and I were woken up by loud music and loud horns. - The room is extremely simple with not many amenities. - We found a roach the morning we were checking out after a 2 night stay. Pros - Great for single or couples in terms of proximity to lots of sights, food, bars. - Staff was helpful and nice in our limited interaction - Travelers without a car or luggage

Alma Hotel. Great place to stay in Palermo
The conditions were simple/minimal but were wonderfully comfortable and clean, and the staff could not have been nicer. They were very helpful in all matters and flexible in adapting to our needs. I might add that the location was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. I would absolutely stay there again

My girlfriend and I stayed at Alma for 5 nights, and it was easily the best hotel within our trip. We're very happy we booked it. The hotel itself is very clean and well kept. The rooms are also clean and have plenty of space for luggage. Bathroom and showers are perfect. Breakfast is full of different options and was delicious! The location is great. It is a 5-15 minute walk to the main things you'll want to visit in Palermo (Historical center, all three markets, popular streets with food and drinks etc.). Its far enough away from these streets that the noise is not bad - we had no issues with noise at night The staff is the highlight and what makes this place so different than any other hotels. Everyone is super friendly and looking to help. We had a great intro to the city with maps/places to visit etc. and when the staff heard we would be leaving early one day (before breakfast is served) they helped pack a "to-go" breakfast to make sure we had something to eat. Special shout out to Michele (I hope I spelt his name right) and team, who organized parking for our car on the street to ensure we could leave very early in the morning with no troubles. Palermo was the highlight of our trip, and we think a great hotel helped make that happen. We would easily come back!

An absolute gem. Very nice rooms. Very good breakfast. Price was excellent for the quality of the hotel. Definitely recommend. Did ask the owner to put a prominent sign street side to make it easier to locate. It’s off a breezeway with several other hotels. Will definitely stay again.

Very friendly stuff and good service
Received a welcome email the day before check-in. The room was ready when we arrived at noon. Close to all the sights and ferry port, located in a building which had couple of hotels and B&Bs. All staff were very friendly and speak fluent English, especially Mari was very helpful. She took care of us and luggage after we checkout. Room was clean and quiet, with no charge minibar with soft drinks and 4 bottles of water. The breakfast was good. The only complaint I had was that very strong bad odor of sewer/mold in bathroom.

Friendly, helpful professional staff. Abundant, tasty breakfast. We arranged transport from & back to the airport through the hotel. It was excellent especially since the airport is a distance from Palermo & we had an early morning flight to Rome. Location is central & walkable to city sites & harbor. Small hotel on third floor of larger building, tiny functional elevator, Rooms are thoughtfully designed & have useful amenities for guests’ comfort. We were very happy with our stay.

Welcoming small hotel in the heart of Palermo. Great customer service all around. We staff was thoughtful & responsive. Very good breakfast. The airport is a ways from Palermo & we used their private hotel transport service for arrival & a very early morning departure. The drivers were excellent! The hotel has rooms on the 3rd floor, small elevator.
