We had a wonderful 16 day stay at the AvantStay property. It was just my wife and I so it was a little overkill but it suited us like a little bungalow. Location location location. The home is licated 3 blocks off dowtown, 3/8 of a mile from North Lykken Trail and 1/4 of a mike from the museum trailhead (set perfect for short walks prior yo and after the hike)The area is quiet. Pool is unheated but it warmed up a bit during our stay and knew going in it was gonna be closer to 70 degrees.The home is very functional to cook at home and relax inside or out.We liked our stay and are considering a 17 day stay next year as we enjoy the area and likedj the home.Air conditioner and furnace both worked well and laundry facilities were nice

2nd time staying here. It was wonderful. So green & lush - sitting outside in the mornings & evenings was a great way to start & end the days. This place is one in a million. P.S. There is a washer & dryer, new outdoor table has six chairs and there are six pool lounges

Location is the star of this property, less than 5 minutes walk to downtown restaurants, quiet neighbourhood, easy access to walking trails. The property had all the amenities we needed for our stay and was comfortable and spacious for the two of us. The outside space was well kept and lovely and sunny; it was nice that the sun loungers had been replaced and there was a table tennis table and other games that were not listed. The reason for rating 4 stars are that the main bedroom would benefit from curtains (not rattan blinds) to block out a light that stays on all night from the property next door; and better and more timely communication about the need for a mandatory virtual check in meeting before access details can be given. That said, would recommend.

Picture on website doesn't do this place justice. There is not a better location in PS. We walked everywhere accept for Manhattan's is PS (delicious). Mervyn's, Spencers, La Casuela's people watching on Palm Canyon, to and from no worry about a DUI. Then the mornings. . . ah the mornings. With the pool laid out before you, and Jupiter in the sky, the sun crests the horizon and soon you can't help but jump in the pool. Inside though is where this place really shines. Extraordinarily well appointed, it is clean, and working nicely, especially the AC, which cools the place quickly! Go, go now, go often.

Overall Great!

My wife and had a wonderful time at this place! Easy 2-3 blocks from downtown with all the restaurants. The place was clean and we were comfortable. We would stay again as a couple only. The only critique we have is that the place is not really set up for more than 2-3 people in several ways, there were only 3 lounge chairs around the pool, there was an outside table with 4 chairs. Two of the bedrooms were sufficient, but the 3rd was more like a large closet. If we would have shown up with two other couples or even one other couple it would have been uncomfortable out side, because of the seating situation. As I said overall great, just glad it was only my wife and I.

Best Location

If you are going to Palm Springs so you can enjoy the Bars, Restaurants, and Shopping this is the place for you.It may not be the most glamorous listing out there but it is roomy, comfortable, and just 3 blocks from Palm Canyon, the main drag. We really liked just walking to our favorite restaurants, taking our dogs on strolls to say hi to people, and not having to drive or get a ride anywhere. If you are bringing your pups they will love the huge yard and the great pool. Landscaping is minimalistic - if you’re looking for a lush oasis, this isn’t it. And like many homes in PS, it does show its age in spots. But it’s been kept clean, the AC works, and again, the location is simply unbeatable.

Great location

The property is very well located in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from the center of Palm Springs. The house was surprisingly spacious, given its square footage, with the exception of the 3rd bedroom which is rather small. It was well furnished and appointed and the kitchen was very usable. Only two small issues to be aware of. The curtains are very sparse, so bring eyeshades if you want to sleep in. Also the pool is not heated so not really usable except in the summer season.

Beautiful family stay with a friendly service, close to the centre. Some dirty chopping boards, but otherwise clean and tidy. Beautiful pool.

Good location but underwhelming home

This would be a good rental for college kids or young adults looking for a less expensive option close to the action. The home has a very small and poorly equipped kitchen. The family room is also a bit tight but well equipped. The main bedroom is nice size but only one window opened and had no dresser and only chipping particle board shelves in the closet. The other two bedrooms were small and no dressers. The dining room window was very dirty and the side yard and backyard were unkept and not at all inviting or habitable. The front patio had an old wrought iron table and chairs that were uncomfortable and not practical. There were only three pool chairs in a home for six people. The grassy lawn and pool area were the highlights. Overall this was a very disappointing rental that needs some upgrades and improvements for it to get a better rating.

Great stay - only minor issues

The location of this refurbished cottage can’t be beat. Key drawback is that there is no washer/dryer. I would have liked thicker shades in the master bedroom since there is a motel next door with a light that stays on all night. Kitchen equipment was well stocked. There were a few other minor issues, but nothing that would prevent us from staying again or recommending this property.

Palm Springs Downtown Spacious Property

The house w/pool in a gated compound is a very short walk to downtown! It is in a very quiet neighborhood with San Jacinto mountain as a backdrop. We really enjoyed staying here!

A True Review - Nov/2024

Place is amazing! Other family members staying at another place called this "The Compound". The grounds are HUGE. The surrounding area is very quiet, peaceful and safe. Beds are comfortable. Be aware there are no dressers in the bedrooms ( just a small stand to fit undergarments in the 2 queen bedrooms) . However, huge closets in rooms.
