We had this condo booked for almost 2 months. I had even messaged her a month before asking if the night before our booked stay was available she said no only the night afterwards. (So she had to have looked at her schedule?) fast forward we are in pcb with 7 people. 7 of those people being 3 kiddos. We traveled 10 hours away for this vacation. The kids were tired and ready to check into the hotel. We sat around and waited for hours for our check in time which was 4pm. We are pulling in! To our condo at 4:11! Pm. And i receive a message from her stating that the room we booked was not available and someone was in it. (But she has something else we can stay in) i expressed to her how unprofessional that was of her. To wait until 11 mins past our check out time to let us know we can’t stay in the condo we booked. Her response was “guess it’s better than walking in and seeing other peoples stuff in the floor” she also told me this kind of stuff happens frequently? I’ve never! Had this happen. She’s had plenty of opportunities to notice she double booked. Check out time is at 12pm. In between that time someone is supposed to come in and clean the condo for the new guest. So you’re telling me no one thought to let us know that our room was occupied??We did end up getting into another room. No complaints about the condo per say bc we didn’t stay in it. But! It was very unprofessional, and a chaotic mess! Took her over an hour to send us over the new condo details.
