« Philip and Krista's home is so cute and perfectly updated, while still keeping the character of a cottage. We stayed for a weekend in the fall so it was a bit chilly in the bathroom and bunk house, but the hosts left us everything we needed to stay warm and were easy to get a hold of for anything we needed. The location is gorgeous and the property is so charming! »

« Stayed a couple nights, all good. Bed area is a little tight but manageable. Beautiful views, nice little porch. Had a Quonset on the farm growing up,nice to see one repurposed. »

« My husband and I came into town to celebrate a wedding. The cabin was very quaint. We were located near the wedding venue. We enjoyed the accomodations very much. We would love to come back and spend more time on the lake. »

« Nice getaway, designed for outdoor social, not very good for inside social, but we headed out to have good times with a quick game and a couple meals inside. Needs a tv in the small social area, could be on a small table. Could use a deep clean top to bottom but mostly it was clean and safe. »

« We enjoyed this cabin over the Memorial Day weekend. It had everything we needed to grill, have a fire, and enjoy nature. Hosts responded quickly to messages and thought of many little details to help make the stay comfortable. We enjoyed watching movies, sitting on the screened in porch, and having lunch on the patio. We also enjoyed the board games and made use of many of the kitchen items. »

« No decorations for new year(you can spend $50 to decorate) No tables to accommodate all the persons together for celebration.There are not 5 bedrooms- one master ,one open space loft in the 2-nd floor,one good size bedroom in 1-st floor and basement with one little bedroom and “bunk beds room “ very very tiny.Everything else 4+(out of 5). »

« My husband and I needed a quiet get-away and this was the perfect place! Our hosts graciously met us to check us in, even when we arrived late. They walked us in to make sure everything was in tip-top shape and that we had everything we needed! They were friendly and stayed in good communication through texting. The cabin was comfortable and cozy and the view of the lake beautiful! We will come again! Highly recommend! »

« Our recent stay at The Yurt was disappointing, falling below expected standards. Anticipating a relaxing week, we chose The Yurt based on its appealing online description and positive reviews. However, upon arrival, we faced a significant health and safety issue: mice infestation. The kitchen and other areas were littered with mouse droppings, and we found mouse traps, indicating the owners' awareness of this problem but no prior disclosure to us. Nightly, we were disturbed by the sound of mice...

« We rented for a weekend, so we could get to know the local area. Sister Lakes is a nice area, consisting of several lakes, including Cable Lake (where the cabin is located). There were plenty of beds and the bathrooms and kitchen were well-updated. The screen porch was a perfect place to enjoy a time-appropriate beverage and the beautiful Cable Lake view. Easy check in and nicely stocked and furnished! »
