We wish we had access to more recent reviews before booking, as the review dated Aug 2, 2025 closely matched our experience.About one week before arrival, management contacted us about optional pool heat at 120/day with a 4-day minimum. The daily heating price was only shared after we had already signed the rental agreement, and it was not included in the agreement or listing. At that point, it was also too late to cancel without penalty. We were told the pool typically stays around 84, so it would still be usable without heating. Upon check-in, the pool measured 63, which was too cold for our group to use, and we were told the only option was to pay the daily heating fee.Cleanliness did not match expectations given the listed cleaning fees: dirty oven, surfaces/shelves not wiped, dishwasher left full, and dead insects in the basement (including under and inside one bed). The kitchen was understocked for a home that sleeps 21 (only four coffee cups and limited pots/pans).Both downstairs HVAC units were not working (area with two king beds and bunk room). An AC technician and electrician visited but could not repair it during our stay. Temps dropped below freezing overnight, and the provided space heaters were not sufficient, making the downstairs difficult to use.The home also showed wear (broken cabinets/drawers, patchy walls, stained/ripped curtains), and the air hockey table did not work. Also, there are many stairs to reach the main level, which was not noted in th

When we arrived the house was dirty, unsanitary, unsafe and severely neglected. Bed sheets appeared to have blood stains, garbage not taken out, floors and toilets not clean, bandaid on wall, moldy shower curtains, jacuzzi had dirt coming out of the jets, dead bugs in the house and garage. Kitchen is falling apart. Broken fridge buttons, cabinets barely hanging on to the hinges, extremely dirty oven, kitchen missing basic appliances and has very few utensils, cups and pans. Mattresses were old, saggy and uncomfortable. Air filters were old and dirty. Air hockey table was broken and had clearly been broken for some time. One of the exterior bedroom doors that faced the street didn’t lock or shut. It was being held together by a rusty door chain. Pool had moldy toys in it, broken pump prior to our arrival, and the heating for the hot tub didn’t work the first night but we were still charged for using propane. We had to deal with plumbers fixing a leak that required them to turn the water off and return twice due to the host not answering their calls. We had a contractor show up unannounced one day to fix the lock in the bedroom and the contractor had the door code and just let himself in. We were never told when the plumbers or contractor were going to show. We spent days dealing with the host and Vrbo and ultimately were left with two options: deal with it or get out. Unfortunately there were no other properties available.

Perfect for families

Our family had an amazing time inside the house and outside in the beautifully maintained pool. The game room was perfect for our 19 year old as well as our 12 year old. This is a great house for all ages with plenty of room for everyone without being on top of each other. The location is perfect as well.

Very spacious and fun place for the family!

We enjoyed our stay (although it was way too short of a stay!). There was open communication with the owners and I received responses right away. They were very accommodating, especially with last minute requests.The house is very spacious and would be great for a family or multiple families (there are a lot of rooms and beds!).It was nice having the pool and spa (not just having the beach as an option). I rented this place for my daughter’s birthday weekend and not only the teenagers enjoyed it, but my 8-year-old and myself did as well. So it’s really an option for all ages with a lot to do and enjoy at the house without even having to leave.I only wish I could’ve rented it for longer!

Disappointed

Well the first night the air on the left side of the house went out. A technician came out and said it couldn’t be fixed that night so we were hot all night. Next the furniture was dirty and I sent pictures to the owner, then I had to wash linens before we could get in the bed, the dryer was full of towels. We ended up leaving on Thanksgiving day, we had to pack everything up and go back home. I was very emotionally drained! There hadn’t been any cleaning that house before we got there! Never again!

Had a nice weekend in this property. It was a good thing that there was space to spread out and games to entertain us because it rained all weekend. We had a minor plumbing issue that was quickly addressed by the hosts who got a plumber to respond on a Saturday afternoon.

Prnsacola Beach Stay

Exactly as described. Better in person than pics. Super close to the beach and sound. You can hear the ocean from the deck. Super fast to answer questions my party asked. Only negative i can say is some of the games like connect four was missing a piece so kids couldnt use it, but in a rental that is to be expected. Im planning on hopefully going back in a few months and will be checking this place for availability.

AAU Basketball Tournament in Pensacola

There were 3 families total that stayed with me at the house including mine. We were in town because 3 of our daughters were in an AAU basketball tournament at Pensacola State College. The house was quite roomy for our group although one of the rooms with a queen bed I wouldn't necessarily consider a bedroom as it was quite small. The kitchen was nice and big but did not have enough pots/pans to cook with for such a large group. The younger kids that weren't at the tournament immensely enjoyed the pool. Great location. I would recommend stocking the kitchen better to help with large groups and their cooking needs. I had to go buy a pot and a cookie sheet to be able to cook for the number of people we had with us. I had my elderly grandmother with me as well as my mother who doesn't get around very well had a hard time with the stairs. It was communicated there were stairs but we weren't aware of how many stairs there were. Overall the house was very nice and in a great location. We were overall satisfied with our stay.

Disappointed !!!

The property stated that it accommadates 21 , However the downstairs bedrooms have no bathroom at all . The place needs repairs { towel bars missing , outlets exposed off wall , fridge controls broken } . chairs were falling apart in kitchen , not able to use them at dinner, , we had to use the chairs on the deck . had 11 family members only silverware for 6 people { if accomates 21 silverware should be available for 21 } . All 3 propane tanks were empty . Unable to grill . The trash from previous renter was not removed and the smell was horrible , moved trash cans away from home and still permeated the property .sent message to property manager and told trash pickup is monday a day before we were to leave. Not acceptable . Cleaning was clearly lacking . not expecting these issues for the price paid. also told it was extra per day to use hot tub , never experienced an upcharge for hot tub before . I would not return next year .Very disappointed .
