I was not able to stay at this property, and have yet to recieve a refund- even after a month.
I reached out to Expedia who said they called them 5x, and they did not answer the phone once for them. Yet, every time I called, they answered... One lady even said they are "required to answer every phone call," so I am confused as to why I still have not been refunded my trip.
I had stayed here not even a week prior without any issues. However, upon my arrival this time, I was unable to rent it due to them NO LONGER taking paper or photo copies of IDs... although last time it wasn't an issue.
My wife had her wallet stolen during our trip here, thus, we were stuck and unable to fly home without a new copy (which we were awaiting to be mailed to us). Last time, they had no issue taking a emailed copy of her past ID, yet this time, they had "CHANGED [THEIR] POLICY". .....wanna know their reasoning? HUMAN TRAFFICKING.
And while I understand Arizona- Phoenix in particular- is known for being a human traffciking hub, I also know after a long hot day in the 115 degree heat, I need access to a room with A/C. My uncle- a polio survivor- was with me as well, and it is hard for him to walk. He desperatley needed to get his feet up after a long day out as well, yet he had to settle for resting on the hard concrete.
