« An overnight stay for my wife and self, a proper pub in a village with decent food and warm exceptionally clean accommodation. Beer was good and locals were friendly, as were the staff, parking in the village square 50 yards from the premises. What's not to like . »

« Don't get me wrong. Staff was very friendly, Room was clean and food was good. Unfortunaetly when is -1 outside and you turning heating off from 8pm for over the night. Room temp droping to 12 degrees. When I arrived heating was on but not, when ive returned from meal. I'was shivering all night and couldnt sleep. No one there at night to complain. Cannot recommend you guys, no matter how cheap or expensive it was, you should look after customers. »

« Lovely hotel in a small prretty village. Good food in rhe pub, very dog friendly and very relaxed friendly staff. On arrival our allotted room only had a shower. I was really hoping for a bath, so the owner very kindly upgraded us to a room with a bath. Would definitely stay again. Plenty of walks from the door. »

« It was a beautiful place to stay in. Andrew is a super host. Very helpful. All the staff very friendly. We definitely recommend this place in the heart of Exmoor national park. Very quite and peaceful place. »

« Nous avons souhaité changer de chambre car celle réservée etait au rez de chaussée et donnait à la fois sur la rue et sur l'entrée du parking de l'hôtel. Les propriétaires nous ont proposé une chambre plus petite mais tranquille avec la possibilité d'ouvrir les fenêtres! Le repas au restaurant était bon avec un guitariste pour l'ambiance, le petit dejeuner était aussi très bien préparé ! Bref un bon accueil et un séjour agréable »

« Quiet relaxed place to stay staff were excellent dealing with some minor issues quickly and the food was fresh, with qauality ingredients and cooked well. »

I stayed here for business so I needed to do more work in my room, the staff were happy for me to take my dinner up into my room and the rump steak that I had was incredibly good. I was also up and out in the morning too early for breakfast so the staff made me a packed lunch which was really nice of them. »
