The room at the property was clean and comfortable! The indoor pool was very, very cloudy. When standing on the steps, you could hardly see the bottom step in the 3 foot pool area due to how cloudy the water was. The indoor Jacuzzi temperature was lukewarm- just slightly warmer than the pool. The indoor pool temperature was great though. We had an issue upon check-in. We had accidentally put the wrong expiration date for our card upon booking. We had selected to pay at the hotel at the time of check-in. While we were driving to the hotel, we get an email from Expedia saying that there was an issue with payment and that we were going to be marked as a no-show. This was approximately an hour before check-in time even started. While chatting with Expedia customer service, the manager had the customer service agent ask us if we could use a different form of payment if we didn’t have the money. I was very much taken back by this. To mark someone as a no-show before check-in time even begins is wild. To also assume that someone would be coming on vacation with no money, is also wild. Humans make small errors. This would include typing in a single digit wrong on an expiration date. We travel 3 to 4 times a year as a family and we stay in Wyndham resorts for the majority of these vacations. This was the first time that anything like this has ever occurred. The experience before check-in really put a sour taste in our mouths and we were overall very disappointed pre-arrival.
