The Space:

The Rockstar sits on 17 private acres near Pioneertown, with no nearby neighboring houses. The house is filled with custom lights, furniture and decor, and outside are a hot tub, a cowboy tub, a propane fire pit, a bubble chair and outdoor dining. Two king bedrooms are in the main house and a queen is in a casita with its own entrance, and each has an ensuite bathroom. It suits families and small groups of up to eight. Save the bubble chair for whoever's having the best night.

-Outdoor Amenities-

Seventeen private acres surround the house, with spots to take in the views and trails to explore. Soak in the hot tub under the stars, or cool off in the cowboy tub, a smaller 5-foot pill-shaped tub filled on demand for your stay; it is not an in-ground pool and is closed November through March. A propane fire pit, propane grill, outdoor dining area and bubble chair complete the yard, which is not fully fenced.



-Living Area-

The living area has custom lights, furniture and decor, a gas fireplace, a TV, a record player, a Bluetooth sound system, a foosball table, books and board games.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The full kitchen has a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, kettle and a pour-over coffee maker, with cookware, dinnerware and wine glasses. The propane grill and outdoor dining area are just outside.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

In the main house, the primary bedroom has a king bed and a private ensuite bathroom, and the guest room has a king bed and a Jack-and-Jill style ensuite bathroom shared with the main house. A crib, travel crib and high chair are available.



-The Casita-

The third bedroom is in the casita, which has its own entrance, a queen bed and a private ensuite bathroom.



-Surrounding Area-

Pappy & Harriet's and the shops of Pioneertown are the easy outing from The Rockstar, with La Copine, the Integratron, Old Town Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree village for other days. Ride shares and taxis are available to get you to and from Pappy & Harriet's, and we recommend reserving dinner there in advance.

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



There are no dirt roads to the house.



Other Things to Note:

-Cowboy Tub-

The pool at The Rockstar is a smaller 5-foot pill-shaped cowboy tub, not an in-ground pool. It is filled on demand for your stay. The cowboy tub is drained and unavailable for guest use during the winter months (November through March) to prevent the filter from freezing and breaking.



-House-Specific Rules-

► Any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee for the first hour, with an additional $100 charged for every hour thereafter.

► Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No external speakers allowed.

► Any locked closet, room or storage area on the property is reserved for rental supplies and is off limits to guests. Guests may be held responsible for damage or missing items if a locked area is entered.

► Please avoid using the hot tub right after it has been serviced, while chemical levels are temporarily higher.

► If you're interested in a wedding, special event or photoshoot, please let us know. Additional fees apply.



-Pool and Hot Tub Service-

The hot tub and cowboy tub are serviced Tuesdays and Fridays, and service may fall during your stay. Our technician will go directly to the backyard.



-Pet Policy-

We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed.

-Wildlife & Safety-

The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.



-Security Camera-

For your security, there is an exterior camera facing the front door and driveway. There are no cameras inside the home or facing any private areas, including the hot tub.



-Cell Service-

There is no cell phone coverage at the property. Wi-Fi is available, so please download maps and directions before you arrive.



-Damage Waiver Policy-

Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
