Hôtel contemporain bien aménagé au gout du jour

Ok on va s’entendre l’hôtel est neuf , pas super ‘’roder’’ par les employés mais cest mieux que les critiques que j’ai lu car l’ajustement semble bien s’etre mit en marche. Point fort : Le Café Mike ( style starbucks) juste WOW! Si vous chialer pour la bouffe , vous avez sérieusement un probleme , y’a de tout!!! Japonais cest le classique des Hibacchi , qualité est présente ! Italien : Osso bucco de jarret d’agneau et petit filet incroyable! Steakhouse : rib eye fond dans la bouche, sur le bord de la Mer le Pez Vela le soir devient un resto fruit de mer : langouste , espadon ...tous simplement merveilleux. Piscines , bars Mauvais coté : algues sur la plage en abondance , vin est pas buvable , la vue coté jardin du ÉDEN un dépotoir!

OCEAN PARADISE AU PAYS DES MAYAS

Cet hôtel est confortable en tout point avec une formule all inclusive composée de produits de qualité. Le plus gros problème de cet hôtel c'est le bruit avec la population nord américaine trop expansive. L'utilisation trop forte de la climatisation qui gâche le plaisir de fréquenter les parties communes. Aucune possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner à l'extérieur et les occasions sont rares de pouvoir diner à l'extérieur. L'ensemble du personnel est chaleureux et adorable sauf la réception qui est assez inefficace, mal aimable et fait passer cet hôtel pour une usine à dollar. Pour un séjour de 10 000 $ ce fut un refus catégorique de conserver la chambre jusqu'à 15H. Procédure administrative d'une lourdeur absolue

Hotel Club en construction

Il s'agit d'un hotel club en cours de construction. Si vous êtes du bon côté de l'hotel pas de problemes, sinon attention au bruit. L'hotel est donc neuf mais risque de vieillir très vite. Tout à volonté dans de belles assiettes dans de beaux restaurants mais avec une qualité moyenne au niveau des aliments.

God underholdning - sløv service

God,venlig og gnidningsfri ind- og udtjek af hotellet. Værelserne pæne - store og med godt aircon anlæg. Dejligt med udsigt til have med ro. Stranden var skuffende - slet ikke så flot som på fotos og fyldt med sten, som man let kunne falde over. Dog pænt mange liggestole og parasoller. Rigtig god mad- specielt på den store buffet-restaurant og Blue Moon. Den mexicanske restaurant skuffede dog, da vi ventede alt for lang tid på både drikkevarer og mad. Maden var kedelig og uappetitlig anrettet. Fik en ret der var totalt krydret på trods af at tjeneren havde sagt det modsatte. Den japanske har ikke specielt meget med japansk mad at gøre - desserten en slags blævret risengrød var ikke det jeg forventede af en japansk dessert, som plejer at være lidt is med frugt, der er smukt udskåret. Det mest positive ved hotellet var uden tvivl "aktiviterne" ved poolen og strand, hvor der var rig mulighed for at more sig. Super gode og aktive guider ved poolsene. Specielt meget gang i den for de unge også godt med vand volley, hvor man spiller sammen på tværs af alder, nationalitet og formåen. Guiderne var gode til at inddrage alle. Super sjovt og underholdende at deltage i vand aerobic, hvor der både var mulighed for at få pulsen op og ha' det sjovt samtidig. GODT GÅET. Også sjovt med karaoke søndag aften ved den store plads. Fin, prof. musik/bands generelt. Servicen fra bartjenerne og tjenerne på restauranten var desværre meget svingende - faktisk nogle gange ikke eksisterende.

Nice hotel great room and food.

Food was overall very good. Accommodations good. Nice room. Hotel staff were very friendly. Do not expect a the ocean to be nice and crystal clear. Seaweed big issue and beach has rocks underwater not visible as you enter water. Water shoes highly recommended. Lots of water activities. Pools were great.

Nice family hotel

We had so much fun the hotel was super amazing clean and so kid friendly the food was beyond are expectations and the staff and bar tenders were super friendly we can’t wait to return

Perfect family resort

The only negatives were the beach is really rocky when entering the ocean. You definitely want water socks and the pool had way too much chlorine in it. My girls hair turned green the 1st day and the kids got rashes from it. But I guess that’s better than lack of chlorine. Other than that everything else was perfect. Food is delicious. They make sure and use bottled water and ice from a bag so no one got sick. Very clean and modern hotel with tons to do

Great Place

Great place to stay. Kids loved it. Staff was very friendly, food was o.k. The one thing I do have to complain about is the smell of the room. At times there was a bad sewer smell in bathroom and also the rooms smell musty and sheets were not 100% dry when changed. Overall stay was great. Would consider going back

We had a great time! The food was excellent, drinks were great, and lots of activities if you wanted to do them. We would definitely come back. Our 7 and 9 year olds weren’t impressed with the water park-they said the slides were too slow. :) ‘y only complaint was we never got to go to the Japanese restaurant. It’s the only one that has reservations and I was there in line atleast 30 minutes before they started taking reservations and still never got in. But there are plenty of other options

Nice amenities, short on staff

They have no rooms with two queen beds, despite that you can reserve it that way, so we ended up with the two kids on the pull out sofa. Also, like many other reviewers have said, they seem short on staff, especially in the restaurants. However, overall the resort was very clean and well kept with great amenities. Very much enjoyed the stay there.

Buenas instalaciones pero fallas de atención.

Las instalaciones del hotel son muy buenas y eso contribuye a que la experiencia sea en general agradable, pero nos decepcionó un poco la playa, que es pequeña y con mucha piedra. Pero lo que más nos molestó fue el servicio de la recepción a la hora de la llegada. Primero fue demoradísimo y trataron de vendernos una habitación distinta de la que habíamos comprado a través de Expedia, por un costo adicional, claro. Luego, cuando por fin logramos que nos dieran las llaves de la habitación, nos asaltó un vendedor del programa Privilege del hotel y de programas de tiempo compartido de la cadena hotelera (hay una nube de ellos en la recepción), quien fingiendo que nos iba a explicar cómo funcionaba el hotel, nos retuvo un rato más y quería comprometernos una mañana entera de nuestras vacaciones oyendo su oferta. Cuando uno va a un hotel todo incluido, no espera que lo asalten desde la entrada tratando de venderle cosas que no necesita. La verdad es que eso nos amargó un poco la estadía.

Beautiful resort; well maintained, friendly staff

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The resort is very well maintained and the staff is pleasant. The food was pretty good overall, with lots of choices. We loved the Eden section near the beach, even though it was a hike to most of the restaurants. There were plenty of things to do on the property to keep us busy.

Our check in agent was terrible. No computer system when we arrived he gave us no information about the resort or towel cards for the next morning. We couldn't get rooms next to our friends and he was zero help with that. Overall experience was wonderful other than check-in!!! We would return to resort.

What a wonderful stay! We have been to Cancun and Riviera Maya with the kids several times and each time have tried a different resort. This is the first time that my husband and I agreed that we have found a resort that we will definitely return to. Between the layout, amenities, food options and newness of the resort, everything was great. I think people with negative things to say need to be reminded that this is an all-inclusive resort and not designed for people who are looking for an exquisite, high-end experience. There are kids running around - lots of them. And the hotel has to prepare massive quantities of food every single day, so it's not gourmet dining. BUT, we ate at the buffet and tried two of the individual restaurants and thought that the food was good (the service in the Italian restaurant was pretty bad but that might have just been our bad luck). The resort is very pretty and well-kept, has a chill vibe and didn't feel overly crowded despite being sold out. We also didn't have to wake up early and rush to the pool or beach to put towels down in order to claim our chairs as we did at the last resort we stayed at. For anyone wanting a massage, take a right at the beach, walk about 200 yards and go to the Beach Club (next to the big Mexican flag). The massage was AMAZING! Overall Ocean Riviera Paradise is definitely a good pick and we will return!

Pleasant Stay

The resort tries very hard but in many ways it falls short. The restaurants are mediocre with the exception of the Steakhouse and Hibachi restaurant. The breakfast buffet did exceed our expectation. Service, on the other hand, lacked in many ways. It would take forever to receive a meal at a restaurant and bar service. On our return back, I had to call the bell boy five times before we received service. It was at the point that the shuttle to the airport threatened to leave. The kids loved the ice cream shop and the parents loved the coffee shop. To note, the pool water is very cold. Some kids were shivering and has blue lips. The beach is not the best. It is rocky and has a ton of algae. Overall, a good experience but not great.

5 estrellas con costes extras

Es un hotel muy grande bcn cups restaurantes y atracciones. Depende las expectativas de cada quien, no hace falta falta salir del hotel. la cálida de la comida excelente, la bebida no tanto excepto si pagas por el servicio premium. Tuvimos que pagar tasas por limpieza de las playas y un upgrade para estar en un edificio menos ruidoso. No me gustó la insistencia para vendernos tiempo compartido y tours.

Safe and private resort close to the beach

I felt very safe at the resort. Close to the beach. Very clean. Over ten restaurants to choose from. Kids pool with water slides. Hotel staff were always professional.

Relatively New Hotel

Massive complex, very clean and well maintained with everything one would want for an inclusive holiday. Catering for all age groups, restaurants, theatre, coffee shop(fab), ice cream shop, casino, ten pin bowling, beach restaurant and five pools including one on the beach. The food in our opinion was very good indeed. We stayed three weeks, at least 5km from Playa Del Carmen, not able to walk along the beach very easily, taxi only option but in the end did not bother.
