« We had a wonderful time in this lovely home, perfectly decorated for Christmas! We appreciated the kitchen having all the necessary utensils for cooking family meals. The hosts were very accommodating to our requests. Couldn't have been a better situation for our 7 adults and 3 kids. The bowling alley/fun center nearby was a bonus, providing entertainment in the inclement weather. »

« We had a great time in this wonderful home. We were a group of two families, each with two adults and two kids. The house was spacious, comfortable, and had a well-stocked kitchen. The kids had a great time exploring the house, game room, and loved the bunk beds.The location is very convenient. There is a cute lake a 5 min walk way and a Safeway and some restaurants about a 5 min drive away. We were there to ski so it was very convenient that it was only 45 mins from Sierra at Tahoe. »

« The location was perfect for what we wanted. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals, tea and coffee. We enjoyed the home as if we had family game night in our own. There’s a tv in every room and more than enough space. I was pleasantly surprised to find kids dishes! They came in handy. My 6 and 3 year old loved the house. And they loved the bunk beds. Thank you for your help before and during our stay. We enjoyed our stay and would book again. »

Two issues we had was when we had arrived the house was not ready yet when my sisters first arrived. Our check in instructions said had our check in was after 3 and it was 4 when my sisters arrived and the housekeeper was still their cleaning. Andy the host was responsive to our concerns (we needed a new mattress, smoke detector chirp, and vacuum not on site) He was quick to respond and replaced the mattress (still needed a box spring) brought a ladder for the smoke detector and delivered a vacuum. « Upon arrival, the property had not been thoroughly vacuumed, and we needed to address this ourselves. Additionally, some of the bed linens had an unpleasant odor. The garage on the left side did not open with the provided access code, and the water heater appeared to be malfunctioning, as the kitchen faucet and the bedroom on the far right had only cold water throughout our stay. Overall, given the price paid, we expected a higher standard and a better experience. »
