I booked this home because it was beachfront, close to town, pet friendly, and spacious. The home was very clean inside and very well stocked, including grill, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. The sunrises were spectacular as we sat on the deck or walked on the nearly empty beach. We enjoyed the warm water and sandy beach.
Proximity to St. Augustine was a plus - only 15 minutes to downtown. We took a trolley tour, enjoyed a dolphin cruise, and spent time walking around the historic areas.
A Publix grocery store is only about 8 minutes away and was convenient for groceries and other needs.
Upon our arrival there were a few issues with some door locks, the outdoor shower, and a severely overgrown beach path and sitting area. However, the manager was very responsive and took care of it ASAP. Any calls to the manager were always quickly answered.
My only issue was multiple "little" things that needed fixing/attention. We fully realize that sometimes things just happen. However, it seems these should have been caught before our arrival, particularly the condition of the yard. I won't list all of the issues, some safety related, most were minor, but it was a detraction from an otherwise amazing 5 days. I'm sure mgt would have fixed them all, but we really didn't want strangers in the home while we were trying to relax. I provided a list to them upon checkout.
Parking is tight and backing out onto 55 mph A1A can be scary!
I would stay here again - just hope it gets some TLC.
