„Advertised there was a pool as the first amenity- the indoor pool finally opened halfway through the stay but took another few days to heat up and all feels very unfinished. The outdoor pool isn’t coming until 2027!! They were still laying turf with builders all over and no loungers available for entirety of my stay. Hotel is far from finished yet Great views from the fourth floor room with terrace (but lift isn’t installed yet, so lots of stairs to climb!). Staff lovely“

„I expected much more for the price (£250 per night). The hotel feels dated and is in need of renovation. Cleanliness was below expectations, the car park was dirty, the staff were not particularly friendly, and the breakfast quality was disappointing. The location near Fistral Beach is good, but that alone does not justify the high price. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel at its current rates.“

"Everything was very nice, location, people, food, beach….but the room. It was facing the car park at the same level. By the booking I think I didn’t choose sea view room. But if I knew"

"Das Hotel liegt exponiert oberhalb der Klippen direkt am Meer. Man genießt einen grandiosen Ausblick, insbesondere aus dem Frühstücksraum. Das Hotel ist schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, das Badezimmer ebenfalls. Die Ausstattung war gut. Kostenfreie Parkplätze am Hotel waren vorhanden. Die Innenstadt von Newquay liegt unterhalb des Hotels und ist fußläufig zu erreichen."

"Tolles Hotel; besonders der Blick auf das Meer vom Restaurant aus. Dort frühstückt man auch und von hervorragenden Personal betreut; auch am Abend. Der Inhaber muss nur aufpassen das man sich nicht auf dem “Ozean view” ausruht; was die Hotel Instandhaltung, speziell in den Zimmern (z.B. Teppichboden und Matratzen), betrifft."
