I had high hopes for this property, but the experience was disappointing. Before check-in, I was required to either pay an extra fee or allow a large hold on my credit card, which was frustrating. I accepted the hold, which I am still working to confirm was released. At check-in, I was first given the wrong lock code, though the property manager corrected it quickly. The unit itself looked modern and spacious, but there was an odor from a dirty fridge and open food. We soon noticed flies throughout the unit—more than 10 in one evening. Management addressed the issue, but the treatment left the kitchen floor slippery, causing my elderly father to slip, though thankfully he was not injured. We had chosen this unit for the washer/dryer, but the washer was broken and no attempt was made to repair it, which forced us to use a laundromat. I stayed in regular contact with the property manager and gave them opportunities to address these concerns, but communication stopped after we checked out.
