« Paradise on a hilltop! Comfortable, lovely cottage with great outdoor space for relaxing and dining, set in an absolutely beautiful location. Forest, meadow and mountain views. Wonderful host(s) who made us feel very welcome and helped us to make the most of our stay there, with fresh eggs from their chickens and firewood for the wood burning stove. Peaceful location at the end of the road makes it a great respite from the city. I would give more than 5 stars if I could! »

« Loved this cabin! The communal building is very clean & bathrooms are spotless. There is a farm stand near the entrance where you can buy firewood and fresh eggs. Trails are literally connected to the property for easy nature walks. We plan on coming back! »

« Everything about the property was perfect exactly as listed . Close to the fun downtown area but far enough away that the neighborhood seems pretty rough, but hey it’s Albany. The stay was awesome and if I ever come back this way I’ll definitely be looking to stay here again. »

« Very nice place to stay for our 3 day hike on the AT. The view from the deck is amazing and the living room is huge with an old stone fireplace which we didn’t use because it was 90 degrees each day. The Mexican restaurant in town (Norte Azul) has an extensive menu and a good variety of beer on tap. Highly recommend visiting Mt Greylock in MA, about 30 mins away. It has an even better restaurant on top (you need reservations) and is right on the Appalachian Trail so you will meet all sorts on...

« The lake house was not only big enough for entertaining our extended family of 10, but fully equipped for fun down on the lake. We loved the kayaks, the stand up paddle boards, and the kids and teens loved swimming off of and playing on the foam floating mat. We lounged around the fire pit and roasted marshmallows for s’mores one night.
