„This trip was a surprise 40th birthday trip for my fiance. The house is absolutely beautiful! The wood stove inside is super cozy, the hammock swings outside are an amazing place to relax and read. If you want to unplug from the world and relax and recharge, the lazy bear is the place to go. The host was amazing at answering all our questions. We can't wait to come back. “

„Remote location with a fantastic view. Many wildlife to observe. The only thing that did not meet expectation is the noise from the main road across the valley. The cabin is still secluded and hard to see from the road when driving. The house and kitchen are stocked with a lot of things. Recommend for a getaway to enjoy God's creation.“

„Perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. The community is unique in that it is gated, but 1200 acres. We only used the upstairs bedrooms, but the beds were comfortable. Loved the screened in porch!! The only addition that is needed is a fly swatter. Some very large, but slow moving flies appeared on our last night and we had to get creative with how we disposed of them. Very clean cabin! “

„The property was clean and it's quiet spot, easy to access, private, beautiful views, perfect for a short stay or a long stay in any weather. Check-in and check-out were straightforward and host was very responsive over text. There was a power outage in the area our first evening and the host stayed in touch to make sure it came back on. „Thank you for such a lovely stay. We loved the relaxing decor of the cabin. The upstairs was a nice place to read or listen to the rain which were our favorites. The kitchen had everything to make our meals and we enjoyed cooking in. We loved the location and enjoyed our outing to Paw Paw tunnel, downtown Cumberland and 1812 Brewery. Thank you for stopping by with flashlights during the short power outage during the storms. We’ll be back to visit! “

„What an amazing peaceful tiny house/cabin stay! We absolutely loved our time - it was hard to leave the house but it’s a perfect base camp for all the local adventures and was so well stocked. It’s a great location for the GAP bike trail- right on it! Can’t really see any houses from it, very secluded in the woods. The property manager/owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. Kitchen well stocked for basic cooking. Hot tub is very big and fantastic. Nice fire pit. Beds were very comfy ...

"Die Unterkunft versprüht 80-er Jahre Charme. Wenn man sich bei google-earth nicht die Lage anschaut vermitteln die Bilder als ob das Hotel etwas im Wald liegt. Dem ist nicht so. Es liegt auf der Spitze von 2 Hauptstrassen. Lärm ist aber noch ok."
