I booked this surf lodge with high expectations based on what was shown on social media, but unfortunately the reality was quite different.
While the beach itself is naturally beautiful, it was extremely crowded during our stay, which made it hard to enjoy and very different from the quiet, pristine setting that was promoted. The surrounding area was also disappointing, with visible dirt and a lack of general upkeep.
The common areas of the lodge were another letdown. They felt poorly maintained and below the quality suggested online, which affected the overall experience and sense of comfort.
That said, the highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. The front office team was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and did their best to help, which we truly appreciated.
Overall, the service from the staff deserves recognition, but the property and surroundings did not live up to the expectations created by its online presence.
