« The apartment was located in a quiet historic neighborhood a couple blocks from downtown. It was much larger than expected from the pictures and had everything we needed and more. Loved the decorations. We enjoyed walking around the area and looking at all the old buildings. The downtown area had a lot of good restaurants and shops. Was convenient to Shanandoah National Park for hiking. »

« Not wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. Absolutely loved the decor with a theme throughout the place. I love the charm of the old homes and this one didn’t disappoint. If I get back to Staunton I will definitely stay here! »

« A lovely quiet retreat near all of the Afton landmarks--I've stayed here several times and the host is responsive and helpful, the property comfortable and well-furnished, everything spotlessly clean, thoughtful provision of coffee/cream/water. An easy walk up to the Afton market for gourmet sandwiches, minutes away from wineries and breweries. »

« Just park your car and walk to see Staunton Historic District. The rental was AWESOME!!!! Just like the pictures. Nice neighborhood. We decided to stay an extra day, the communication was quick & done. We are already talking about coming back in spring. The whole experience was wonderful. Book this, you’ll love your stay :) »

« Beautiful place with everyone you need in a peaceful setting! Everything was spotlessly clean and although it was too cool during our visit for the pool, it looked clean and inviting. Check-in was simple and hosts are friendly and hospitable. You will not be disappointed! »

« This is our third biannual visit to Piedmont Place! We have family in the Crozet area and visit while working remotely. Piedmont Place has everything one could want and is super convenient to many shops and stores. It fit our family of 4 well for a week, would highly recommend! »

« The loft apartment was super cool, and we loved all the extra effort the host made to make it a fun place to visit. Everything inside worked perfectly, including the sauna and the record player. We visited from Liverpool, England, and it was so fun to put on the Beatles on vinyl! The location makes all of historic Staunton walkable, and there are many of useful stores, and many cute stores, and plenty of good options to eat out right there. « Loved this rental! Very nicely decorated and great location. Several stairs to get to apartment above the garage. Ideal for one couple and one other adult or two children as the murphy bed is full size mattress (small space). Nice bathroom with walk-in shower. Big kitchen - fully stocked. Very clean! »
