„gorgeous place up in the woods. you wont see a neighbor or traffic. nice little brook out back with an excellent sound. Front porch rockin' chairs were a favorite. Franklin WV is 4 miles away with a few restaurants and groceries if you care. Kitchen was great and had all the necessary things. turn off all the lights and step outside at night and it is pitch black except for the stars. WIFI was very handy and TV had Samsung streaming apps.“

„We were a 4-person group of guys in our late 60s, there for a 5-night stay. The property met our needs, and it was very comfortable. Just minor issues. Got different wifi credentials prior to the trip, which could've been a disaster as there is no cell signal at the house. But the host did provide the proper connection info prior to arrival. „Beautiful cabin in a remote yet convenient location. The view from the back porch/deck was amazing. A very relaxing place to come after a busy day of hiking and sightseeing.“

„Overall this was an excellent stay. Couple of things would have been nice conveniences, for example, extra blankets, tissues, paper for the fireplace or a fireplace starter. The cabin had a tub, but no shower, which was slightly disappointing. The cabin was clean and comfortable otherwise. „We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). „From the moment we arrived the cabin was warm, welcoming, and made you feel at home. Beautiful and peaceful setting. Space to relax and enjoy both indoors and outside. Didn’t get to hike as much as we hoped due to rainy weather but still managed to get out and explore nearby attractions. Host was easy to work with and ensured our visit was a good experience. Cabin was clean, comfy, and would stay there again.“
