„The stay was fantastic. Just one issue was the lack of response from the emergancey contact number on the hotels.com confirmation email.....when we could not get in the property, and the key was not in the key safe!.....still waiting for an answer to our call & text.....very poor. We managed to find the key, and text the owners, who replied promptly and were lovely.“

„We rented a one bed flat at Vomero apartments in July 2025 and found it to be a gem of a period property with outstanding views from the balcony overlooking Torbay. The town is accessible. Louise and Sean were considerate hosts with fantastic quality of service. Highly recommend. “

„Good stay, with a large comfortable, spotlessly clean, homely, well equipped apartment. Friendly staff. However, there were a couple of niggles, the TV was really small, old fashioned and not smart so no access to streaming services etc. There was also a surprise charge for daily electricity usage, which wasn’t mentioned during booking, and could really add up if you were staying for a few nights or more. “

„Very nice cottage, overall satisfied. The location is scenic, rural and quiet, fairly close to the beach. Any trip outside the local area does require some time to get there (Dartmoor or Exeter) due to the narrow roads. The equipment in and around the apartment is overall up to date. The communication with the rental was uncomplicated and straightforward.“

„Property was great for our mini break, all lovely and clean. Chris the owner introduced himself when we arrived and was very helpful. Towels were supplied as were some tea, coffee and some milk and toilet rolls. There is plenty of parking, which is ideal. Obviously with the whole of the Torbay area; it is hilly. The Clydesdale is mid hill area, and doable and we also found an easy walk around route. But if we were 40 years younger the direct route would have been a breeze!!!! Location is ...

„Great location for a wander down into Kingsbridge for breakfast before heading out for the day. Close to the places we wanted to visit. Property extremely clean and modern. I hadn’t really realised the impact of the slanted roof so Chris banged his head a few times! "This hotel has to run a lot of renovations. Paint get’s off the wall on the outside everywhere and pigeons’ dirt at all windows. They also stay there the whole night. We had a room just next to the kitchen’s air conditioning. What a noise. Gym equipment very outdated and partially broken and unusable. Never seen shower curtains in hotels for years - but here you will find them unfortunately. And mold around the small window of the bathroom, where you also can talk to the pigeons whilst sitting in the loo. My tip - bypass this hotel. "
